I am james from Korea. Would you please be my new friend? I hope so, if i had a chance. my hobby is collecting pretty photos from website and taking photos by myself.
i would like to have the time to chat with you soon. i inform you my skype id(kimkara71) Thanks.
Thanks for your comments Nadia. For your level, have you tried the EC written comprehension test? This can give you an approximate idea of your overall level as explained at the end of the test. You have 15 minutes to do the test and must stop after 15 minutes (if you want accurate results). Good luck!
I live in the area near Denver University. I teach in two programs. One program is for international students. I teach the advanced class there. The program is called the Learning Center but has several centers around town. My center is at Calvary Baptist Church at Monaco and Hampden. I teach about nine to ten students there.
My other program is at Centro San Juan Diego on Lawrence St. close to downtown. It is a Hispanic Center run by the Catholic Church of Denver. It has many programs in English, GED, Citizenship, computers (computacion), legal advice, battered women assistance and spiritual counseling. Here I teach English to beginners and second level students. I use Spanish in the beginner class and only English for levels 2 and above. I also do some one-to-one tutoring with certain individuals.
How do you like Denver? Do you work? If so, where do you work?
Did you learn a lot of English at Emily Griffith? You have good English. You are able to communicate well. However, I can make some small corrections if you would like.
Hi again. Well, yes I really live in Denver, Co. and I've been living in this state for eleven years already. I'm originally from Mexico (Urapan, Mich.). I read that you're a teacher. Where do you teach?. I love making friends. I'll tell you a thing, when I was going to Emily Griffith Opportunity School I got to make a beautiful friendship with some of my teachers, so now that I know you, it's just like a flashback to those days when I had the privilege to go to school. Any way, it is nice meeting you and I hope we'll be in touch. One last thing, I would you to check my writing and let me know what I am missing, please!, because I know I need to work hard to perfect my English. Thanks!!!!
Thanks for inviting me to be a friend. Do you really live in Denver, CO as I do? What a cooincidence. How long have you been here? Where are you from? I see that you speak Spanish.
