Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, one by one.

I am a researcher in the field of ESL and now wish to know the following:
1.Is there a specific policy to be followed by anyone who is interested in developing ESL/EFL in a primary school?
2. Does such a policy recommend the sequence LSRW in Teaching and Learning. ie., because we learn our L1 in this sequence should we have to follow the same sequence for L2 also?
3. Is only Listening and Speaking skills are important in the initial four years of ESL/EFL training ?
4. Do we have to neglect Reading and Writing skills in the first four years of ESL/EFL training?
5. Is sight word training superior to phonics instructions in ESL/EFL?
I just want to say thanks a lot for this world you made for us.
Warm regards
Kamel
