Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, one by one.

  • Hi, Josef! Thank you so much for inviting me in "My English Club." I have learned so many things and hoping to learn more. Thanks again and God Bless!
  • Thank you very much.
  • Ask a question:"Nutt has chosen to moderate comments."

    What is "moderate comments"?

I can't leave comments to Nutt.

Who can help me to solve the problem? Thanks for helping.
  • Thank you, Josef! Actually, I found in your ebook a sentence using the preposition 'from' --"This letter is from my wife." It means the letter comes from the wife and also means the letter is written by the wife. In your ebook, I also found some 'unfamiliar' prepositions such as 'circa', 're', 'bar','touching','barring'. I've learnt/learned a lot from reading the ebook and recommended it to a few friends here. I hope they'll find it helpful too! Thanks again! Delete Comment
  • I hope so.
  • thanks for adding may englishclub
  • Hi Josef,
I have just run through your ebook English Prepositions List--which is complete, really helpful. Great job! Prepositions sometimes are recognized as 'small words', but it's by no means an easy job to use them correctly--even though we have learned all the basic rules about them. Actually, I've done the quiz to see how well I am at using them. Here I have a question for you, relating to the prepositions 'from' and 'by':
    1. blogs from native speakers
    2. blogs by native speakers
Both possible and OK? What's the difference in meaning?
    Many thanks!
