A quick review about tonight's study content. The first one is the demonstrative determiner. As "demonstrative" means to make something clear, it is obvious that its function is to make the following content more clear. For example, I will go shopping on the weekend. But it is ambiguous to know the exact date. After replacing "the" with "this", you will know immediately that it refers to the closest weekend. As the topic says, I am going to write a tip about translating the pronoun in English to Chinese properly. Here is an example sentence: "The poems really come to life when they are recited." It is clear to read it in English. We all know that the function of the pronoun is to replace a repeat ed noun. The pronoun "they" in the sentence refers to "poems". But in Chinese, we usually use "poems" directly instead of "they". So the formal translation of the Chinese version is "当人们朗诵诗歌的时候，诗歌才真正活起来。" 

This is what I have learnt from the preparation class of the Graduate Entrance Exam today.

  To prepare the Graduate Entrance Exam, I have to improve my grammar and vocabulary to get better grades in writing part. So I try to write diaries to record what I have learnt today. There are much more that I can do to achieve my goal, but as an old Chinese saying goes "A thousand miles begins with a single step".

  Today, I recited 8 new words and reviewed the Noun grammar in EnglishClub's Grammar Topic. I almost forget all grammar in my head. But EnglishClub's articles are really simple and understandable! No words can express my satisfaction. As my major is software engineering, this site really meet my needs and do much better than my nation's most sites.

  I wrote the above text after thinking for a long time.I wondered to write more details about today's study, but it seems monotonous which is contrast to my initial intention that I wanna make study process more fun.
