Hello Patricia, from Cornwall in the UK!
How are you and your family? I love to get to know people around our world and hope that you might like to write to me and share about our lives through mails. Perhaps you could tell me something about yourself and your life there in Argentina?
I am Jane and I love to have friends around the world and am very attached to the beautiful part of the world I live on a peninsula with the sea very close in all directions. In Cornwall the distance from the sea gets closer and closer the further away from the rest of the UK you travel and, although we are considered to be part of England, in Cornwall we are Cornish, not English. Our culture is a special one with our own ancient language, flag, music and customs. I think that is why I am also fascinated about other countries, because we all have our unique ethnicity. Although I am not actually learning any languages, friendship with others around the world is precious to me, especially during this worrying climate of tension that we are all living in.
How about your interests and your family? I love nature and wildlife and take care of birds and other small things whenever we can and we have a big garden where I spend a lot of time. I like to read and music is a passion in my life. Then, of course, I love anything to do with the sea. I live in a land where there is so much to see, so many places to go, and I am still constantly finding new corners of Cornwall that I love. Sorry, but I do not know how to send a private message on this site but I hope very much to hear from you and know whatever you would like to tell me about your life.

In this group you can:
-ask me any grammar or vocabulary questions (the discussion "What do you want to know about English Grammar). There are also other dicussions devoted to these problems (see the full list of discussions );
-practice in written English taking part in different discussions or starting your own;
-meet new people, other students and teachers willing to chat or speak on Skype. So, I ask all members of my group to leave their Skype IDs there if they have a desire to communicate orally. I,myself, rarely have such a possibility, especially now. Maybe, some later. Anyway, you can find good and interesting interlocutors in my group. Nice to meet you and good luck!
