Sorry for being late. I was just busy studying how to use the new software I bought. I saw it on sale yesterday. ^_^
In my opinion, the writing of Thomas Jefferson, "The art of life is the art of avoiding pain." is not wrong.
For me, to avoid sin is to avoid pain in the same manner. The greatest pain we are all aware of in this world are the wrong choices we have made in our lives and we can only avoid this by trying to do good and avoiding (as hard as we could) to get hurt. Others may find it boring to be thinking in this way but wherever we place ourselves we will always find something we despise. If we decide to avoid pain we have to think of ways how to avoid boredom and this is by doing something we think good or meaningful for us. If we avoid to repeat the same mistake again, we are avoiding pain in the same way. This is how I understood it. ^_^ I also think the same, of avoiding the pain in the neck.... :)))
Take care Nadiyah. I miss you too though we don't know each other personally.
bye.
