  Thank you for sending me hearty greeting!

   

  By the way, it gave me a chance to study difference between hearty and heartily.

  As a result, I think I should use hearty to describe how greeting is nice. Because the word "greeting" is noun, I should use adjective to describe the noun.  Is it correct understanding?? :)
