My lovely Mayumi, hope you are all right. I haven't seen you here for a while. What's up? how's your English studies? Just wanted to say hi and wishing you the best!
Thanks a lot you put the poem here. It's so sweet of you and I'm glad you liked it.
'Nafis' lovely voice reciting poem....' I've just heard this recorded voice of Nafis, strangely enough, the background music seems to be the music (Nightengale Serenade) playing through 'Friendship Bouquet' on my profile, hahaha!
This story doesn’t come from my country. These kind of stories usually come from Greece.
I have heard this story when I was in the high school from one of my teachers. But now, I know that there are several kinds of this story. And I think this is the nicest one.
And also we have a nice story by “Oscar Wilde” about it in the preface of the Alchemist.
I like this story because of the personality of Narcissus. Maybe it seems that he is so prideful, but I like his proud, I like his beauty, I like his not paying attention to anyone.
I’m sure that if a person was more beautiful than him, he loved him/her certainly. But his lovers weren’t a real lover otherwise they never wanted from god to hurt him in this way. They must try to increase their beauty instead of imprecate Narcissus. They only want him for themselves. In fact they have narcissism not Narcissus. If I were that god, I would give Narcissus more beauty certainly.

Hi dear Mayumee
You are welcome.
Did you know that you are so kind?
And Narcissus(flower) is the symbol of kindness.
