It's a pleasure to be your friend, Kathy. Bob has encouraged me a lot here while I was still a newbie. I could see that he has been giving his best in supporting everyone who has potentials. I hope we could exchange ideas about teaching in the future (when time permits) since we are in the same field. Oh, you know how busy a teacher is. His busyness sometimes ties him up to his work and leaves no room for a little pleasure to himself. Going to EC serves as my respite from the tedious work I have. I enjoy chatting with my friends here. When I am online, you can see me interacting and mingling with the members in the main chatroom.
Thanks for the friend request Kathy. It was kind of Bob to mention and make reference of me. He is a great friend of mine whose request sometimes I cannot reject no matter how busy I am.
Looking forward to having a conversation with you.
You need to read some member's blogs and try to make friends with some more active people. Now that your comments are working again it should be no problem.
Why don't you post a short blog about teaching, from your experiences as a language teacher. There are many teachers who will eventually find the blog and get to know you. Most of them can be very helpful and share information. I like my fellow teachers on here.
At 0:12 I wrote a comment and posted it. I saw that I missed a comma because the comment posted properly.
At 0:13 I copied the original comment and pasted it to a new comment where I could add the comma. Now at 0:13 I was able to leave the corrected post. This is why so many of us depend on being able to see our posts. Only after posting are we able to see the entire comment if we are using a smartphone or a pad. Most of us really don't want to leave a comment with typographical or punctuation errors.
If it is not asking you to approve comments, then it is fixed. I have seen this happen to people before when they accidentally changed a setting. Hopefully we can continue our discussin on teaching :) without technical problems.

I thought you might be a teacher Kathy. As for my learning Japanese, I don't get much chance to learn because I'm always teaching English. I pick up a few words but can't ask an intelligible question yet. I teach when it is convenient for others to learn and so am not free during any classes in Japanese. I am enjoying being here but don't have others to talk with like I did in Saudi Arabia. There I had people who taught English but needed to learn from me to improve. They had time between classes and we taught each other.
Here I work In a business teaching employees to understand and to speak more in English. They aren't teachers and don't have time or the inclination to teach me Japanese.

Hi Bob,
thanks for your good advice. I changed the things you have recommended and I hope it`s working now.

Thanks for the friend request. Do you plan to become a teacher or will you just keep practicing and expanding your English ability?
