I am glad to hear from you. You see, the listening problem is one of the hardest. It is so called "listening barrier". In fact, it is psychological one. However, if you do what I say, it will help.
These are so called podcasts. They come together with the scripts (text). First, you should listen to it as long as you need to catch the idea. Then read the script, translate and learn all new words and expressions. Then listen again paying attention to the words you didn't know. Do it until you hear it as a native speech. If you are persistent enough, it will help.
Hi dear! I was on vacation so I couldn't answer at once. As to TOEFL. I have been practicing it for many years. I tought that course in the US. So, "Always smile" gave you a good advice. I do know her personally. Her English is rather good. The name of the book is: "Barron's "How to prepair for TOELF test"" You can find it in the net for free. As to listening section.
