Hello Dilora, what are you doing in Kyrgyzstan?! I'm amazed! (hehe, it's a pity that in writing we can't place the word sounds and intonation:) so this is a kind of joke, don't worry). What language is used there?
I need to say I'm sorry because my delay to write to you; these busy days I could write something stealing time to other things, but here I am.
As you, I've found pictures and information about your country, but you know it's not different the information wrote in a public way than the personal one's. Where the feelings? where the sensations? Let's go then.
I'm living in the Canary Islands archipelago, exactly in a island called La Palma, situated in the Atlantic Ocean at the West of the Sahara desert...) I know you can easily find the place on the internet). Here we have a gentle wind called "Alisios" which blows from the East to the West and are humid, thanks to Nature. This island has the most difference between the sea level and the top into the less possible space, so, we are living surrounded by mountains, due to we hardly ever use a bike to ride! Here the horizon on the landscape is vertical, of course (why I say "of course"?) the seascape is slightly curved, yes, curved or I see it as it. Well, here you can find two general views, the sea and the montains. Hopefully this island it's covered by trees most of it. You know this is a volcano island, so you can find little lava deserts next to green mountains. It's amazing to see the frost changing into little smokes at the dawn's end, from the soil and the sand, because the heat of the sun.
Also you can take a walk on the wildside (as Lou Reed said ;–) walking along a recent volcano, the cold wind – maybe 800 mts above the sea – around your ears and something hot below your feets. In almost all way you can touch the stones...they are hot! Walking there with one of my sisters she said she could understand why a volcano could be a God for ancient people...

Hi Dilora, thanks for your description, maybe in the future we could say how we see our lands, what feelings we have.
I'm living in La Palma, an island of the Atlantic Ocean near 28ºN 17ºW, this island and another 6 more are the Canary Island and belongs to Spain. This island was declared Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO. It's a volcanic island with 700 sq. km. and around 2400 m. high.
We have a variety of landscapes, beaches, forests, lava landscapes,..., hot and cold weather at the same time because the elevation.
But we don't have the wide horizons that I had seen in the mainland.
I saw part of your country in TV documentary, and I like it. All the land west of Ural Mountains catch my couriosity.
I'm in early fifty, so I'm studying English as a way to open my mind, my knowledg, friends and possiblities.
Thank you for your attention.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you
Best wishes
Javier
Hi Dilora, how are you? trying to learn english it's because I get into this pages.
I hope I can find some friends to improve our skills and knowledge, but I'm not sure how can I do to invite people as friend.
Dilora, could you tell us a description about your country/city? I'm living in the Canary islands and, since childhood I've fascinated about the mainland and the wide spaces.
Thanks in advance.
And now I'm thinking I need a guide of this site!-P
