  Hi, Bill! We haven't communicated for ages! Your grand daughter is almost adult! (Ha-ha!) She is getting very nice! And she is cute! Well, I have a question. I need a verb describing the kind of speech that imitates childish one. For examle, if a lady holds (pats) a puppy or kitten or a baby, she starts speakind differently. Can you give me this word? It is not "to lisp". Is there any other formal word? Thank you in advance
