  thanks Bill for your information. I must say..You are a good teacher.I learnt about modals and preposition but the problem that I find is while I speak. when I speak I dont have words to explain myself. like I know the use of would but I get confused where to use 'would have' or 'could have'. I get confused. I know its silly.
  Anyway there are lots of problems....

  Yes, my students loved the idea of joining EC too. They were so thrilled to get the opportunity to communicate with people from all over globe.

  This site is really great... English club is the "the one" for sure... and I'm so glad to find you here... after read your testimony, I want to thank you for your cooperation in to help people like me (beginning learner English)…for sure I'll have a lot of questions about English grammar, vocabulary and writing. Since you and your wife had been travel around Central & South-America I want to get better enough in my writing and be able to write about my country (Brazil) to you and all members.

  I am amazed how many things I have learned from EC members, since I joined this online community. Invaluable experience of online interactive project with people from other cultures.
  
  I intend to involve some of my students and friends into EC that serves as means of real communication with real people. This is the best text-book ever.

  Wow! Bill, thanks for a very good explanation of vehicular vs vernacular. I am aware of the latter, but the former got me all surprised.
  
  Lingva franca in reference to English sounded very confusing to me too. This is why I chose to ask of what was implied.
  
  I am excited to learn new vocabulary! Thanks again for help out! It makes all the sense in the world to me now.
