I called him a street child

    It was a street
    With full of dust...
    In a gloomy evening
    I waited for a friend...
In front of a cinema theatre...

    Just looked here and there
    Suddenly noticed a "child"
    Among the people
The child was looking at me...
    And then came to me...

    Stood in front of me...
    Without saying anything
    Looked at me...
    With his smiling eye...
And the starving and the innocent face

I recognized the language of the eye...
    "Mam something to eat"...
    It was saying...
    "Give" the burger...
    Which was in my bag...
He took it from both hands...
    And again gazed at me...
    With his happy eye...

With no words he went and crossed the street
Still.... I was seeing his way...
He directly went to a place...
Which was shaded by an umbrella...
"Granted" the burger to one of his kind...
Who seemed to be his sister...
    And again looked at me

    For the first time...
He had a smile in his face...
    I was looking at them...
He was looking at his sister
Who was eating the food impatiently...

    What I discover was
    He is a child
    Who lives in the street...
Had a gentle heart to fulfil
    "A starving of another"
Even as he was suffering from the same..

  • "Intellectualizing"
    by Daniel S. Moskowitz

    Sometimes,

    People will tell me

    That I am

    "Intellectualizing".

    However,

    By using my Intellect,

Am I commiting an Offense against God?

Or are these Critics only Criticizing me

    Because they are too stupid

    Or too ill-informed

To Know what I'm talking about?

    They tell me

    A particular subject

    Is "irrelevant"

    To the Conversation,

    But WHO

    Or WHAT

    Gave them the AUTHORITY

    And the POWER

    To determine

    Which Subjects

    Are "relevant"

    And which subjects

    Are "irrelevant"?

    They will tell me that

    "Thinking"

    Is a way of AVOIDING

    My emotions,

    But, has any neuroanatomist

    Ever been able to Find

    A "Zone of Seperation"

    Between Thoughts

    And Feelings?

    They tell me

    That I am "intellectualizing"

Because the Subject I am Discussing

    Cause them to feel UNCOMFORTABLE.

    However, rather than SAYING.

"I feel uncomfortable when you discuss the Politics of the Middle East,"

    For example,

    They just tell me to

    "Stop intellectualizing!"

    As if THINKING

    Is SINFUL

If Those who constantly criticize me

Believe that THINKING is a SIN,

It is obvious what Religion THEY believe in.

It is the Cult of the Golden Calf,

    Of Course.
  • I miss you
    If you want to know
    How much i miss you
    Look at the sky and
    Count the stars the
    One you count is how
    Much you miss me
    And the one miss is
    How much i miss you

  • hi my friends
    thanks julia . It's a wonderful group.
  • No longer mourn for me when I am dead

Then you shall hear the surly sullen bell

Give warning to the world that I am fled

From this vile world, with vilest worms to dwell:

Nay, if you read this line, remember not

The hand that writ it; for I love you so

That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot

If thinking on me then should make you woe.

O, if, I say, you look upon this verse

When I perhaps compounded am with clay,

Do not so much as my poor name rehearse.

But let your love even with my life decay,

Lest the wise world should look into your moan

And mock you with me after I am gone

    Sonnet 71 - William Shakespeare
  • 'One makes lovers as fast as one pleases /
And they live as long as one pleases /
And they die as soon as one pleases /
And they die as soon as one pleases /
    And then one makes more.'
The Way of the World by Congreve
  • BEAUTY IS AN ECSTASY. IT IS AS SIMPLE AS HUNGER. THERE IS REALLY NOTHING TO BE SAID ABOUT IT. IT IS LIKE THE PERFUME OF A ROSE: YOU CAN SMELL IT AND THAT'S ALL. . . . IS LOVE TRANSITORY TOO? CAN WE SAY THAT IT IS ALWAYS PERMANENT? I DON'T BELIEVE THAT YOU WILL ALWAYS BE BESIDE ME, WIPE ALL MY TEARS AWAY ALL THE TIME,,, SO, I WILL TRY MY BEST TO SURVIVE ON MY OWN !
  • IF
    rudyard kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you,
are losing theirs, and blaming it on you:
If you can trust your self when all men doubt you,
but make allowance for their doubting too.
If you can wait and not be tired of waiting,
    or being lied about, and dont deal in lies;
Or being hated, dont give way to hating,
and yet don`t look too good, nor talk too wise.

If you can dream, and not make dreams your master,
if you can think and not make thoughts your aim:
If you can meet with triumph and disaster,
and treat those two imposters just the same.
If you can bear to hear the truth you`ve spoken,
teisted by knaves to make a trap fo fools:
or watch the things you gave your life tobroken,
and stoop and build`en up with worn out tools.

If you canmake one heap of all your winnings,
and risk it on one turn of pitch and toss:
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
and never breathe a word about your loss.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew.
to serve your turn, long after they are gone,
So hold on when there is nothing in you,
except the will which says to them
    "HOLD ON"

If you can talk with crowds and keep you virtue,
or walk with kings nor lose the common
    touch;
If neither foes nor loving freinds can hurt you,
if all men can count on you but none too much

If you can fill the unforgiving minute,
    with sixty seconds worth of distance run;
Yours is the earth and everything that`s on it
and which is more, you`ll be a man my son!!!
