  • "wound up"is a fantastic word.as an adj. as u said means anxious,but as a verb it has different meaning,plz pay attention:
    -wind sth up = to end
    -wind up = become
    -wind sb up = 1-decieve 2-annoy
    & easier definition 4 contemplate is : to think
