hi, everyone i would like to give you all a glimpse of my beautiful ,vast and vibrant country called INDIA .we have got some of the most beautiful and unique places in the world. our culture is almost 10000 years old .and geographically India is the seventh largest country in the world and also it is the biggest democratic country too.my country got independence in the 15th of august 1947 from the British .the national language of India is 'Hindi'my country is the second most populous in the world after china ,kathak ,odissi , bharatanatyam, kuchipudi, kathakali these are some of the most famous dance forms of India. India is known for its spiritual values as well. the Indian film industry also known as Bollywood produces more then 1000 film every year....

Hi Ramona ,very interesting question, the second last Mudra (hand gesture ) Sarpasirassud ,this gesture is to express SNAKE HEAD ,the first Mudra Pathaka is to express FLAG it is a victory sign, gesture Bhramaram is for INSECT like beetle ,gesture Kapidhakam (second gesture) it is an indication of a TREE……………..

(1)the first picture is of Amba palace it is in the city of Mysore ,it is also called Mysore palace there are twelve ancient temples inside it ......
(2)one of the most famous dance forms is Kathakali ,the word kathakali literally means ‘story play’ in this form of the dancing artist expresses the entire store without uttering a word ,there are particular audience which go to watch these dances ,for the common man it might just be an interesting dance form but people who understand these meanings for them it more than a dance (3) yes we still have the caste system but now it does not have any meaning ....................thanks again for asking questions
