seeing that

When you say seeing that, you are considering the fact of something.

Example:

Seeing that none of the students were prepared, the teacher gave them one more day to study for the test.

 

You can also say seeing as or seeing how instead. 

Examples:

1. Seeing as it's going to rain, why don't we postpone the hike and go watch a movie instead.

 

2. Seeing how our guests are all vegetarians, I don't think we should take them to steak house for dinner.
