Today, my english teacher share the knowlege of court system with me.
We discuss some differences of court system between America and China.
I think that's very interesting, so decide to initiate a discuss here to offer a oppotunity for us to share with our countries' court systems and our opinion about that!:)

Of course, I assumed that these parts of court should be had in every country---Judge, defendant, plaintiff, counsel for the prosecution, counsel for the defense, witness.
In America, they also have jury as the main role of dicision-making of being guilty or innocent for defendant.
The different part between China and America is JUDGE has the right to Judge in China while JUDGE only do the job of passing the process and sentence in America, the jury decide if the defendant is quilty or not.
It sounds that American court system is more equal, however, it is probably not.
Jury are choosed by lawyers of two sides(defendant side and plaintiff side), they will put people who tend to benefit their own sides into the jury. And if the defendant has a lot of money that could "look for" as many witnesses as they want for continuing a court until it prove him or her is innocent. That is so crazy! So, a court case may go on a long time, sometime could continue it for more than 1 year. Americans don't like to be a part of jury because that they cannot live with their families before the court case finish. Of course, government make a policy that people who are work as a jury cannot be fired by their companies and get money from this jury work.
That sounds a easy way to get money, just sit down and listen for giving your opinion at last. However, you have to tolerate the boring court.
I suppose that Rich man always have more rights to be innocent than poor and ordinary person in whichever court system all over the world. That seems like eternal regulation in the society. Although that's pity for us, that's the truth.
WHEN governers are making policies for their court system, I guess that they are trying to perfect it as equal as they could, they want to give the RIGHT judegement to the people deserve as well. But, system is a system, people control and apply it. It can never be equal because of that.

About court system, hmm, in brief, just a kind of system which is used for judging people if are innocent or quilt fairly. For instant, some people claim that you steal his things on Friday while you defend for yourself to explain that you can not steal his things because you weren't in this city on Friday. So, government built a court system to give a system and place in which people can claim their own opinion, and some other people who are not involved in the case judge and make a dicision according to the evidence and testifying.
hmm, generally, that's court system. However, in different countries, they have their own court systems. Such as, in China, judge has the right to make final decision, whereas, in America, judge just has the right to make the court process to move on, the jury has right to make final dicision.
I don't know if you could understand my meaning or not~ hope what I explain could help.
