Hello all !!!!

The final round of the contest Ms and Mr. EC 2014 is here!!!!

Today I will post the works of our four fionalists and you all AFTER READING and LISTENING TO them, plz try to vote for the finalists - ONE GIRL and ONE BOY you consider their tasks best. Try to be fair please, it isn´t about the popularity and about whose friend will win..

People usually ask: Which do you prefer? The sea or the mountains? As for me – definitely the mountains. I am not a fan of „frying“ my body on the beach because to me it is boring. I prefer something more active, for example hiking. Since early childhood I spent my holidays in the mountains with my parents and I would say it influenced me a lot. I tend to the nature, I just love to escape from the rush of the city.

The mountains can give you a lot but sometimes they might be even unpredictable. T

At the beginning of this year, with the encouragement of EC friends, I started to write my own blogs to practise my English writing. Up till now, I have written 100 blogs. MyEC has witnessed dribs and drabs  of my progress on writing.

Before this, writing was a big problem for me, I was afraid of it and even hated it. Every time, I had to count the words of my English compositions in the exams [usually the word limit is around 120 to 150 words].

One more question for you: Now that you know I'm not a native English speaker, do you still think Expector's English is good enough to help you learn or improve English?

I know some of the members here are not interested in reading anything by non-native English speakers. They're afraid of learning mistakes non-native speakers may make. It's quite reasonable for them to think so or do so. I even suggest reading all the blog posts or comments by native English speakers. I admit that I
