Student: I did everything you asked me to do and the golf ball is still sitting there. Why did I miss hitting it?
Golf Guy: You did a great job with your first swing. The attempt at hitting the ball was perfect.
Student: But... the ball is still there. How could my attempt be perfect?
Golf Guy: Let's try another swing. This time concentrate on getting the golf ball in the way of that perfect swing you had last time.

Student: I hit the ball!

Golf Guy: How did that feel?

I had to say good-bye when I left the US. For me it
was very difficult to say good bye to my friend but I had to.

Sometime it is difficult to understand when a
person says good-bye, sometimes it is temporary and another it is for always.

More friends have said to me good-bye maybe I
never can see them again but we stay in contact on the Internet

That is life!

It’s very said but true.

Did you ever say goodbye to some knowing it would be forever?

I do. Many people have a great difficu

I don’t like loneliness, well sometimes I like to be by myself because it’s important for me to think by myself but I think the person needs another person. I believe it’s not possible to live alone because you need support, help and company.

I think that lonely life is not good and not easy. Well for me I like to travel alone but I’m not a lonely woman.

My journey

When I went to the Grand Canyon, it was an experience of my life. I
was planning this trip for along time because I didn´t want to travel by myself in US, but finally I found friends that wanted to enjoy whith me this trip. My experience was awesome.I could see the South Rim and the North Rim.

When I saw the Canyon, I was shocked because I haven´t seen something like that. The Canyon is huge and gorgeous; the red color of the rocks is amazing. I walked along some trails that was so hard for me be

Golf Guy: Time to try to swing a golf club.
Student: OK. Do I use this seven iron?
Golf Guy: Yes. It is easier to learn to swing than using a wood. We will try to use a wood later.
Student: I'm nervous and very tense.
Golf Guy: Golf is all about being relaxed. You are outdoors and nature is all around you. Try to feel loose and hold the golf club like you would hold a bird. Tight enough to keep it in place, loose enough that you will not hurt it.
Student: How do I swing the club like that?
Golf Guy: I

Beauty over Intellect

I read an article a few weeks ago about self-esteem. What caught my attention was that If your pretty or beautiful you can receive a lot of praise or you'll get notice easily. But my question is, Is beauty more important than intelligence? Well in my opinion, I still believe in intelligence, because it can take you in places and be able to share what you have learned either in the field of music, information technology and human relations.

For beauty is only skin deep. There were instances in my

What a great challenge ! I don't know who organized it but i am very happy to be part of it as it gives me the opportunity to talk about my passion for travels which goes, so well, along with photography.

Here is my "top ten" list of places where i have never been and that i would like to see before i die.

Those places make me dream and my love for them comes, often, from books i read when i was a kid, documentaries i saw on television, or people i met from those countries.

So, here there are :

On every Sunday afternoon, I go to an English club in Hanoi in which I live. Its name is HYEC which stands for Hanoi Youth English Club. How people often address its name, however, is quite unique. That is, they say "hai ếch" which is composed of two Vietnamese words. "Hai ếch" means "two frogs". How can they say that?

First of all, look at HY in HYEC. Because HY is somewhat similar to HI. How English word "Hi" is pronounced is very much similar to how Vietnamese word "hai" is pronounced. Yet, th

Memory Day in Ukraine

Today is Memory Day in Ukraine. It is the beginning of the next week after Easter. On this day people should visit cemetries and take care of the graves of their relatives and friends. As for me, it is very strange. Such impression that we should remember those who passed away on this day only! But there is one tradition that I can't accept at all. It is to eat and drink vodka at the cemetry. Why should I eat among the graves?! As for me it is some kind of barbarism! Besides, it is a must to fil
