Chestnut time in Kiev

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, is famous for its chestnut trees. There are more than 2 mln. chesnuts growing all round the city in the parks and just along the streets. The house I live in is located on a srort side street that is about 300 m long and there are more than 100 such trees on it ! During Soviet times white chestnut bloom was an official emblem of Kiev. Unfortunately now it is inofficial one. But any Kiev born person starts telling about our city mentioning these trees. There are also

Today, what most honoured is to acknowledge the women who work outside home. I do not want to degrade this but, I think the job that women do at home is as important as theirs.My mother has always taken care of my brother and I. I don’t remember if I have ever left alone at home. Even if she went somewhere, she would come back very soon so that we could eat at least dinner together. After three years, finally, I could make it. Every morning, I wake up with this thought; To see my country again, to hug tightly my family members and relatives, walking in Iran, eating Iranian traditional ice cream, kebabs , breads, visiting the places that I had been before; the university, the streets, the cinemas, to see how they have changed. Now, that time has arrived and I am eagerly packing my bags but, I feel so strange. I am supposed to be more relaxed but, I neither can eat nor sleep.

Every time an English question pop up into my mind, I write it down in my notebook. Whether it is related to grammar or words that have to find meanings or just common expressions that I would like to incorporate to my own pile of vocabularies. What I do especially in understanding grammar rules is after I write it I don't consult yet grammar books..I ask first two or three of the members of MyEC co-members and friends who I know knowledgeable with these matter..Then I study what they have said

Yesterday i was in Narita, Japan. It's still cold but sun shined. When i went out, i needed to wear a scarf. This time in Japan there are no more cherry blossoms. What's a bit pity!
