The following photos were taken on our former president's official residence established in 1950.

After 46 years, now it is allowed citizens to visit. Here is like a big garden or a forest.

Mnemonics

Do you know what the word  mnemonic stands for?

I wasn't aware of the meaning of it either,as in my language it isn't a habit to memorize things in mnemonics.

Mnemonic is a learning technique that aids memory.

They can aid memorisation of very many types of information.

Thanks to Mr.Joseph's email, that I got today about the colours of the rainbow,I know about this memorisation helping device already.

He mentioned that we can remark the colours of the rainbow with the aid of a mnemonic,-hope he won't

The path allows people to take a walk or go biking. Biking is one of the popular sports in Taiwan. You may see a group of bikers or a family bike on the streets on holidays.

My Diary,
January 6th 2011
Thursday

I was always angry at people who give up easily criticizing them for not being so strong to achieve what they long for. Now, I think I became like those whom I criticized before. However, I would like to be stronger this year not being sorry for my past mistakes and not being worried for future. I would like to do my best at this moment to achieve my goals. As such, I have decided to write either a blog or a paragraph or even a sentence every day for about 15 m

Christ is Born and Revealed!

The celebration of the Feast of the Holy Nativity and Theophany of Our Lord Jesus Christ starts on the evening of January 5 as the church day changes at 17:00 p.m., after the evening service. So the celebration of the feast starts in the evening of January 5 and is continued on January 6.

In the evening of January 5 candlelight Divine Liturgy is celebrated in all Armenian churches. It is interesting that candlelight Divine Liturgy is celebrated only twice during the year – on the eve of the Fea

Adopt a Young Learner

2346102459?profile=originalI was so excited to see that an amazing new teacher joined MyEC today. Greta Sandler inspired me from the moment I read a guest blog post she wrote called Love them Before you Know them. Some people are just meant to be teachers and she is one of them. Just look at the quotes on her profile and you will see that she is one of the world's "greats". Her blog About a Teacher is very inspiring. Why? She shares real life stories.

Do you think blogging is difficult? Greta blogs with her young learners

Happy New Year, everyone.

I hope you’d had a nice holiday. For Chinese, the main New Year is actually our lunar New Year, which is going to start from Feb. 2 until Feb. 7 or even more than that. So, we usually can celebrate twice for New Year. Last week, I spent two days of my holiday going to Taipei, which is our capital city, is located in the north part of Taiwan. Hundred of photos I took when I was there, and I picked some from them to share with you here. Small Winter

I have seen in the Internet a picture from my childhood unexpectedly. I remember, the first class and the first winter at school. As all was interesting. Now behind a window again winter. But it has passed more than twenty years since then. I would like to roll down again from a hill on a sledge, to build the snowman, to play in snowballs. But I should go for work and to be engaged in more ordinary affairs. But Christmas is fast, and we again will go out of doors to look at snow, we will light g
