Loy Kratong in Thailand

                         Loy Kratong in Thailand

It’s November, and the weather in Thailand has been chilly. I actually love it as it reminds me the Christmas season in my country in the Philippines.

Almost 7 months…it seems a year since I left Philippines, and yet I feel that things are just happened yesterday. Time really flies!

I like Thailand – the fact that it’s closer to the Philippines, the weather is just almost the same and people are just like Filipinos,

To My Dear…

To My Dear…

The traditional drum from Arakan
My Dear, please come and play (it)
The flower of Royal Orchid, “Tha Zong Pang”
We are the ones, the wealthy of wearing it, My Dear.

The ‘New York’ you call me to come
Not being able to come together with you
Our ancient heritages; the artistic stone carving
Ought to belong to us.

‘IT’ age and abroad
I understand what you said to me
However, My Dear…
At the Land under the Arakan Roma
Because of my growing up
As long as Arakan Roma not being ruined

What is the busiest schedule you have ever had in school? To be more clear, I am asking how many classes you have ever taken or taught on a weekly basis?

I love teaching English, but I have been teaching 43 classes a week! That is 23 classes in the mornings and 20 classes at night, each week.

I admit that I haven't been able to prepare for classes the way I would like to.  I also admit that I have been very poor at keeping in touch with my English Club friends since I arrived in Saudi Arabia last

Our limits

The mind is a powerful thing. It establish the limits of our universe.

When we are childs, this universe is limitless. We can be whatever we want. We could be a rock star, a futbol player, or an astronaut. The time and the society begin to make it smaller and smaller, until it collapse.

But we can make it bigger if we try. The point is that we have the power. We should not accept what the society impose us.

Only the reality.

IDLERS

IDLERS

When the dawn starts to glow brightly

Disappear the dins of night animals gradually

Then the cocks crow loudly

The darkness disappears slowly

Universe shows its self proudly

The thin mists drift on cliff and valley

Caress everything intimately

The birds are also awake cheerfully

The dew drops on the leaves glow interestingly

The life is ready to rotate steadily

Hurly-burly of human activities start normally

It is not prevailed unfortunately

Cause idlers still sleep soundly

Absorbed in their dreams dee

Ballad of Reading Goal

2346316327?profile=original

The Ballad of Reading Gaol is a poem by Oscar Wilde,

written in exile either in Berneval or in Dieppe, France, after his release from Reading Gaol.

This is a part from it

:

I know not whether Laws be right,
  Or whether Laws be wrong;
All that we know who lie in gaol
  Is that the wall is strong;
And that each day is like a year,
A year whose days are long.

But this I know, that every Law
That men have made for Man,
Since first Man took His brother's life,
  And the sad world began,
But straws the whea

Friends

Nowadays, a "friend" has got different meanings to different people based on their life experiences. Some claim that their lives have taken a U-turn just because of a single person they trusted. And then there are people who consider themselves to be lucky to have even a single friend in life.

Everyday, we come across many people at institution, workplace, etc. The bond we develop with each of them depends upon how intimate we get with them. I would like to share some of my own experiences.
