I'm an English teacher and I have a task of  preparing my studnts to act a play.

I had a terrible manager few years back. However, I learned so many things from him that I really thank him.

He taught me:

1-Don't use your power:

If you have so much power, it does not mean that you have to use it against people. For example, if you  have power not to pay someone's salary, do not use that power. Instead, try to be humble and treat everybody with respect and dignity.

I have  enjoyed  my time here  at  EC .  I have  to take  some  leave  now  and  concentrate  on  my waiting  period  through prayers   and  patience on behalf  of my beloved  husband  

Thus I will not  visit  FB  or  EC  through out  my waiting  period of four months  and  ten days

After listening to many new English speakers, I have become familiar with some of the common issues that new speakers have difficulty with. I went to a book fair this evening after work to find books for my best friend’s daughter. It was not crowded, in fact a bit empty not much visitor because it was late like around 7.40pm . Plus maybe because people prefer to watch football game between Indonesia and LA Galaxy where David Beckham positively played in that match. FYI, the stadium is next to the building where book fair is held. Even people in the book fair watched the match on tv :D

     Commenting on Jenny's blog "Career or Marriage" I've suddenly  realized that I played so many different roles in my life!!!!! I'm a daughter,a sister, a wife, a mother........Some roles are the main ones and I'm doing my best to act perfectly..... Some of then are secondary..... I'm a neighbor, a buyer, a patient etc... And sometimes I even pay no attention to them.

     I can't say that I'm excellent in any of these roles (I mean the most important ones). I often forget the text, I sometime

As I was browsing on the net,I have found a really useful tool for English learners,a softver -in order to practice English pronunciation-called IVONA.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT?

I think it is marvelous, if you study on your own and there is noone to correct you,while you are in doubt about how to pronunce a word or sentence correctly.

Jalan Jaksa is a name of the street in Jakarta, the place where I worked in 1999. I worked for a small cafe named Pappa Cafe and Restaurant. Most tourists from all over the world who visit Indonesia come this place. there are some small hotels and inns there. I worked as a waiter. I loved it because I could improve my english skill then.
