Voice blog#24: Sunday Breakfast

2346483787?profile=original

What do you usually have to tide you over until lunch on Sunday? Do you have it at home or go somewhere to enjoy it? Having a leisurely breakfast on Sunday is kind of a reward and luxury for me since I don't have much time to prepare on weekdays. Instead of cooking at home, I'd go to a traditional market to find some local food, such as noodles or rice pudding. Or, if I sleep in, I may be with my classmates or friends to have brunch at a coffee shop where the staple dishes are western food. Sp

which i liked :

O, never say that I was false of heart,
Though absence seem'd my flame to qualify.
As easy might I from myself depart
As from my soul, which in thy breast doth lie:
That is my home of love: if I have ranged,
Like him that travels I return again,
Just to the time, not with the time exchanged,
So that myself bring water for my stain.
Never believe, though in my nature reign'd
All frailties that besiege all kinds of blood,
That it could so preposterously be stain'd,
To leave for not

To the one that got away

To my one and only love,

I miss the days you held me and the days I hear your voice. I miss the days you were there. Us falling apart wasn't my choice. I miss the days you kissed me and the feelings we used to show. But most of all I miss the guy that I thought I used to know.

The worst way to miss you is when you are right beside me and yet i know i can never have you again.I was so used to you calling me because every night we used to speak and now I still wait by the phone u

Memory - how it works?

Memory

  • What do you think is a memory? Fears, feelings it’s when we remember things FROM PAST.
  • What are the first things you remember from your childhood?
  • What makes memories to become long-term memories?
  •  What are the things that you remember just for a short time and what are the things that you remember for years?

These were some of the questions we were thinking about during a class with teacher Mark.

We were sharing some stories from our childhood that we remember. I’ll tell you my story

I was 5 ye

My Michael story ep. 2

It seemed to him, that he was sitting there for hours. Around him everywhere was splattered blood mixed with throw-ups. Arounding darkness didn’t let him to evaluate and make a small recognition this dreadful scenery, which had been playing in his head. He started recalling his best moments of life, flops, his first great fuck with girl, and having sex with a dorm-room-fellow. First shoot goal, first injury, his rapidly fall. The thought about his decline has aroused him. He decided to wake up f

Give her the right tag!

Hello, there!

Do you know what ‘Question Tags’ are? If you do, how often you use them in your speech? And, are you pretty sure that you’ve been using them correctly?

On the other hand, if you don’t know how exactly they should be used, don’t worry!

The following videos will teach you everything about question tags!

To my dismay, I often hear people using "..., is it?" as the question tag with the main
sentences of all forms and tensesFor example...

He didn't .invite you to his birthday party, i

Good sayings----Active Listening

Active listening is watching closely and listening carefully.

In my experience, one needs to be calm first then he or she can focus on others instead of himself or herself. If there is something bothering me, I will easily think of myself and not pay attention to what other people say.

Active listening is important if we want to help other people. Only when you concentrate on others, care about others can you listen actively.  It needs practice to listen actively. By watching closely and lis

Communication

Hello, everyone!

I'm not very good in English but I try to improve my skills. Especially I feel difficulties with communication because of almost all that I know and can in English is learnt by myself and I have had lack of an English speaker for communication. So I hope to find here friends which I could communicate with and just learn some new things.

I'm looking forward for your comments and suggestions.

P.S. If I made any mistakes I'll be thankful for your corrections.

I'm new here.

Okay, let's show out what I learnt in here today.

Firstly, the combination of "ache".

Generally, we have five words often combined with ache to express a pain of parts of body. They are headache, earache, stomachache, backache and toothache. And there also are two combinations with parts of body, but its meaning are a bit different to the literal words. They are heartache and faceache. Heartache means an emotional pain, doesn't mean a physical pain in the heart. Faceache does not mean a pain of bo

The will

When my days end ,darkness falls
Stars lose their shines , become black balls
Then , the death would find me
When I drown in pangs of death
And everyone leaves me
I will be in a dark loneliness
My dear ,I recommend you
To light a candle next to me
To delight my world out there
Then ,purify me by your chaste hands
Coffin me by your old wedding dress
With a touching melody ,recite me holy verse
It might give me everlasting peace
And say farewell to me, with your smiles
With your pink li

DEVOTED

It’s my life; today, tomorrow and forever. Every inch of it represents me. You’ll know me if you have read every piece of it.

I have spent my life wandering so many things and these helped me to know what things are worth living. Memories may pass, just like us, people may come and go. But there are so many ways to preserve these priceless moments of time.

I grew up exploring and experience taught me to value the things I love. With these things I was inspired to keep ever

Eurasian Tree Sparrow

Every late afternoon, when the surroundings is gradually clouded by darkness, whether in our backyard, garden, or in any place where I am present; I always have the luck to witness a gathering of a certain kind bird, in a certain place to spend the rest of the night. You won’t fail to notice these birds once they’re gathering together, since they are gregarious, especially in flock, and makes a harsh high-pitched chirp-chip call.

[It's time for another guest post on my blog. This time my 8-year-old daughter is the guest. She told me a funny story on the way home from school last week, and I asked her to type it out so that I could share it with all of you. I thought you might enjoy it, and even learn something important about writing. If you're a teacher, maybe you'll even try this lesson! I haven't changed a word.]

A fascination on Forays

I never thought that I would be interested in travelling. The only thing I have in mind when I was growing up is to help my parents to make life better. I don't even dream to be rich; just to see ourselves not struggling is already a blessing for me.

It was during my high school years that I got this fascination. We have to go to a certain place for study purposes. The place was miles and miles away, but my group about 9 or 10 manage to get there gaily just by foot. Arriving at the plac
