We all have certain words that send us to the dictionary over and over. Sometimes it's a spelling problem. For example, I have trouble spelling the word "definitely". Other times it's an irregular verb that causes the problem. No matter how many times you read the rules, you still have trouble remembering. Are there certain words that you avoid because you don't want to use them wrong? For me, it's "lay" and "lie". Let's get these words straight once and for all!

DOES the road wind up-hill all the way?
Yes, to the very end.
Will the day's journey take the whole long day?
From morn to night, my friend.

But is there for the night a resting-place?
A roof for when the slow dark hours begin.
May not the darkness hide it from my face?
You cannot miss that inn.

Shall I meet other wayfarers at night?
Those who have gone before.
Then must I knock, or call when just in sight?
They will not keep you standing at that door.

Shall I find comfort, travel-sore and we

Your Smile

2346386480?profile=original

Do you know why I am always happy?

It is because something you have

Something that might be simple

But it is powerful and beautiful

Do you know why I always need you around?

It is because you get something I need

Something that is able to mend my broken heart

Something that is able to light my pitch-black mind

Something that you might share with the others

But still, yours is different.

In this sweet citrus afternoon

I am engulfed with joy

I am able to spread my damaged wings

I am finally able to smile aga

Recognition

It’s been around a fortnight while joined my new office. My partner and I are the newly recruited in the team.  My product head, two producers and my partner were in the meeting. He was on board and explaining about the new product details. Once the discussion has been over, he started making some hierarchical diagram structure on the board. Our discussion was over and we were trying to figure out what could be it all about in those diagrams. He then starts naming the top of our organization str

I recently came across a wonderful blog post by English language teacher Chiew Pang. Chiew is a famous blogger in the international English language teaching community. He interviews teachers and shares lots of great resources. His recent post "Know your photos; know your camera" on the ELTPics blog was full of great tips and ideas for teachers. I asked him to rewrite it for English learners so that I could share it with all of you. I was so happy that he agreed! If there's one thing I've learne

Child Innocence

Its a time in my city for school admission of fresh badge. My 2 cousin brothers who willing to take admission in 6th standard and 8th standard, I searched for every school past 1 months. Oscar and Me, This Year!

I burst into tears when I saw the Academy Film Festival gave the best foreign language award to an Iranian movie called “A separation.”

I do not know why I cried so much. Maybe because I felt we are really forgotten. No one sees us even in the weather forecast of the International news. The meteorologist usually skips over Iran. Not so many people know us. To my surprise, when I took my Canadian citizenship oath, the citizenship officer asked me where Iran is. “Is it Iraq?”

Moreover, when I show

Fairy tale tour!

Ni hao,

Just got back from China, one of the most exhilirating trips of my life. Visited Shanghai (again), then headed south to Guangxi---Guilin, Yangshuo, Li River, and Longsheng---: The landscape, both man made (as in the terraced rice fields of Longsheng) and natural (as in the awesome limestone peaks in and around Guilin and Yangshuo, and most evident along the Li River), is absolutely breathtaking.

From Guangxi I visited Xi'an (again); and ended my tour in Beijing where I spent 8 of the most
