Every year different generations of my 11th grade students finish school in May. During the last English lesson I  usually present them, as my parting words, the poem of Rudyard Kipling "If”. It has become an annual farewell tradition. And every year different generations of students to my great pleasure admire the poem. It means they understand moral values of our life.

I decided to share this poem with you, as every line of it can be considered as a quotation. Rudyard Kipling is a famous Englis

Did you bring anything in this world

when you were born,

of course not;

Did you remember anything

when you were born,

of course not;

Could you speak anything

when you were born,

of course not;

Could you eat or drink anything

without help your mother,

when you were born

of course not;

But you are given all that

as your requirements.

But now-

you have almost forgotten all of them.

Moreover, you are given all the lot

that is not really measurable.

But you are enjoying everything

Hello my dear EC friends,

Do you have any ideas how to avoid the fillers such as umh, hmm, so, alright.

Could you please tell me how to improve these and how we can actually say more useful words instead of saying these all the time? I have a habit of saying fillers like these and I think it's time to improve it. Saying lesser of these fillers is I think is one way of speaking properly and a way to speak much livelier and interesting. So, do you have any ideas? Please, share them

The War(not for publish)

This post reminds me of my youth , when I was a solder .i spent nine years in army . I had spent most of these years in battles , I injured two times. It was a horrible time. I saw the died’ solders’ corps throw into graves unconfined you can feel the cruel nature of war and death , as soon as you saw how solders’ corps were treated with no respect. Wars showed unimportant of their food (solders) they dealt with them as the lost objects .

Dear friends and teacher,

Years ago I wrote this text in my diary; of course I wrote it in French which is my mother tongue. I decided to translate it into English so I could take part to this fun writing challenge Tara gave us. It was not easy at all and my biggest challenge was to use the right tenses. Written in red my new vocabulary.

Dear teachers and friends, could you please leave your comment on  my first essay below? Thank you.

In this century, most people in many part of the world have mobiles phones. It is important to have one in their home. Nowadays, it is hard for people to live without mobile phones. Even though some people say, mobile phones should be banned in public places. In my opinion banning mobile phone does not make sense. What if some emergency occurred? People cannot call for help because the mobile phon
