As long as I have been in Englishclub.com, I often asked my chat-mates “ What do you know about Viet Nam? ” and they immediately answered me:  “ I only know about Viet Nam through two wars in the past ; French – Viet Nam war and America - Viet Nam war”. I’m proud of  being a Vietnamese because  everyone knows about my country as the land of courage, strong spirit, hardihood, etc... As far as I can remember, I never visited my birth place. It's just a name, Batu Pahat which literally can be translated as Rock Chisel. It's a name where I put as my birth place in any document. It's written in my identification card and all official documents, but that's all. Am I curious where I was born? Of course, but I never have the inclination to visit it since I don't know anyone there, nor my close relatives are living in the area anymore.

I grew up in many places. My parents had to mo

Plagiarism warning

Please don't plagiarize!

I've recently noticed so many bloggers plagiarizing, which means they were copying and pasting things from the Internet, such as photos, text or articles, poems or song lyrics, etc. I know most of the time they were doing that accidentally - they may not have been doing that intentionally. They may not have known what is plagiarism or may have been totally unaware what they were doing was illegal.

Why is the plagiarism taken so seriously here? Big deal? You should know th

Professionalism

RECEIVED MAIL IN MY MAIL BOX:
I enjoyed reading this..and would like to share with you all!

"During a robbery in Guangzhou, China, the bank robber shouted to everyone in the bank: "Don't move. The money belongs to the State. Your life belongs to you."

Everyone in the bank laid down quietly. This is called "Mind Changing Concept” Changing the conventional way of thinking.

When a lady lay on the table provocatively, the robber shouted at her: "Please be civilized! This is a robbery and not a rape!"

At that time, people step by step developed a habit of “only listening and watching” without reacting and expressing their view. The graph of gathering descended, and the interaction decreased. These things create a space among people in same town. With time, the habit of listening and watching create a vacuum for expressing

The Land of My Birth is Kalyan. Kalyan is a small city of India. Many people don't know about my city because it is smaller than big cities like Mumbai and Kolkatta. I like the land of my birth because I put first step on this land and my journey started from here. This land is a witness that how many times I falls and how my knees got hurt and how I grow. Few years back Kalyan didn't have big buildings, and highways and shops. But in these days my city has improved a lot.

Dr Muhammad Iqbal, known as Allama Iqbal, poet of Islam and national poet of Pakistan, when shared his complaints against God, it was scandalized that he accused God of having ceased to bestow His grace on the Muslims and God should be "accused of injustice". As the matter of fact, he did not share the "complaint" nor did he accused God. Happy Friendship Day !!!

I wish to all my EC friends Happy Friendship day

Thank you for being in my life and for making it more interesting and colourful.

Today is International Friendship Day and I think it is good idea to celebrate such day because sometimes our life is too hectic that we tend to forget how much our friends mean to us.

At least once a year we should slow down and remember our friends, no matter if they are virtual or from our real life. We should dedicate at least few minutes to them, to appreciate t

I am from Iran and I like to write about the nomads of Iran because their homeland is nature, Have you ever thought about living in NATURE. It is very hard but wonderful. Nomads of Iran should live in coordination with nature; because they are mostly shepherds depending on the livestock for their livelihood…..They have winter and summer homes and migrate twice per year. These migrating pastoralists move to the warmer places in early autumn and again move to the cooler pastures when spring comes.
