Tuscany

Hey Travelers,

I try it - I write my first Blog-Post....

But first, something about me. I'm 29 years old an live in Germany.

I'm an english beginner. Because of that, there are more pictures than words :)

Well, let's start.

After a long night we reached "Radda".

A small town between Florence and Siena

in the Chinati region.

[Marketplace of Radda]

We'd booked a flat for one week.

It was very rustic and quiet.

Stone soil, old wood windows and the best outlook ever!

From our flat, it was easy to reach each destination.

We've visited some wineries like "Castelo Brolio" , "Badia a Calitbuono" or "Isole e Olena".

[Badia a Coltibuono]                                             &                              [Castelo Brolio]

Siena

Tower of Mangia.

It's 102 meters high.

We was on top.

It was very exhausting.... only stairs ..... and stairs ....... and more ..... :)

But, the view over siena is awesome.

Florenze

Nice city, with a lot to see.

Perhaps the most photographed thing in Florenze.

Ponte Vecchio, bridge over the river arno.

But, there is so much more churches, places and museums.

San Gimignano

With it's "gender towers".

The towers was built of different families.

To save the memory on it, the name "gender tower".

So, that's a small summary of our Tuscany road trip.

I hope my expression is not so bad.

And - you like it :)

Greetings Benny

  • sharing traveler's impression is a good idea for learning language. it could give a lot of advantages for both the creator and the reader (who love traveling too).

  • Hey Estanis,

We were there with our own car. We've started in the south-west from Germany. And we've driven through France and Swiss. About 900 km one way :)

In Tuscany we visited all cities and sightseeing's with your car. Except Firenze, the traffic was to heavy. We took the bus.

  • Hallo Benny,

Your blog should be rated higher than beggining level ^_^ We all understand you well. What a nice trip you had.

If you dont mind, I notice a small mistake: "there are more pictures as words".
