Yes bet we strolled too in the Battery Park. Actually this is walk-through to the ferries which take you to the island where the statue is located. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and built by Gustave Eiffel. I learned the sculptor first visited US to find the place to locate his statue and finally selected this island, the Island of Liberty.
Oh...cool you did visit to watch a play!!! great! Okay, we enjoyed Battery park area too, this park was really fascinating...I wanna hear more about your tour.
We visited New York mainly to watch the play Harry Potter the Cursed Child. It was 5-6 hours play. Then we visited Statue of Liberty. New York is heavily congested populated city. Believe me the distance which covers in 5-10 minutes on easy roads it takes more than hour in New York. So had happened when we were returning our hotel from Statue of Liberty.
Lovely! We have been to New York three years back....I would never forget the very first morning when we went out around 4 A.M. to roam around as we woke up at 3 A.M and had our dinner, you know it happened due to different time Zone....later we took some pictures....I hope you are enjoying your stay over there.
