Hi friends .....
When i started to learn English i got confused by the meaning of the verb GET ,,(i am still student don't get me wrong haha) meaning of it in the different situation and in the idioms so ,,, i have studied English by myself and don't have a teacher to ask him and he answer me ,,,i started watching movie and took all of the sentence that there are Get on them ...so after that i tried to find the meaning of them by dictionary and by guessing (ha ha )and put them in the situation and find the meaning by it ..a few days before i was review my hand out and i noticed that i am not sure about the meaning of them yet ,,,so decided to put them here to make them right if there is any wrong and share them with you all :)
1."I studied English from Get-go "
means: i studied English from long time ago.
2."Do not get on my back" or "get off my back "
meaning:when some one bother you by repeating some thing and this stuff bother you and u wanna tell him stop and dont repeat again you can use this sentence .
3."Dont get on my nerves "
means:dont make me nerves.
4".I cant get my point across"
means :i cant Explain what i mean this is hard for me to Explain it.
5."It got so that i killed him"
i am not sure about the meaning of it but i think (it got so )means the things got ugly and i get angry and kill him. help me about it :(
6."Let's go through this together"
means:let's solve this problem with each other or do it to gather.
7."He is getting on in year."
means :he is getting old .
8."What are you getting at "
means:what do you means but in angry mood .
9."she cant hardly Get by "
means:she is poor and she live her life hardly .
10."She gets around"
means:she has lots of boy friend and she always wanna spend the times with guys .
11."Dont get around it "
means:do not make problem hard and dont make me confused ,, i amnt sure about it too.:D
12."I got her to do it"
means:i i forced her to do it .
13."I am gonna get back at him"
means:i will revenge him.
14."I got your back "or "i got your six"
means :i defensed you .
15."He always get under my skin "
means he always bother me .

Sima you are mixing three things Idiom, simple verb and phrasal verb.
Phrasal verbs are idiomatic expressions, combining verbs and prepositions to make new verbs whose meaning is often not obvious from the dictionary definitions of the individual words. They are widely used in both written and spoken English, and new ones are formed all the time as they are a flexible way of creating new terms
A phrasal verb consists of a verb and a preposition or adverb that modifies or changes the meaning; 'give up' is a phrasal verb that means 'stop doing' something, which is very different from give.
