Some people say "it's never too late to learn." I was amazed at the perseverance and determination of old people getting education even when old. One lady I viewed on our evening television news recently featured a 78 years old woman who graduated from elementary school. It was a most refreshing sight to see the old woman - in her white toga and holding a rolled white paper with pink ribbon waving above her head, and then, flipped her toga and the rest of the graduating students followed suit. She

A few years a go I noticed a talented actress because the part she played seemed so real and human. I saw her again in another movie where she was once again a character that I felt could be real. I am going to post a few photos of her here with some of the changes she has gone through so she can "be" the person she is playing.
This was the first character I saw her play and was set in the 1920's or 1930's.
This role was also very good and I felt a sympathy for her character as she was in love wit

Our goal is to learn English, and hopefully we will achieve it, through one of the miracles we are blessed by God-Smile, be it through Ease, Wealth, Health, and Kindness. on my blog this time, I will try to find another way to learn English. we can improve our English by positioning ourselves as a seller and two assistants.today I opened a new store and I gave it a name according to my name, Nadiyah as the brand. I sell a variety of purposes, especially for women. clothes, veils, sandals, shoes and accessories. I run this business assisted by two assistants, Atika and Nadira Moosin Asad. So, for each transaction, they will both serve you well.
When the chat room went down for a short time this week, some of you were very upset! It was interesting to see how important the chat room is to many of you. Thanks for your patience during the technical glitch. It was fun reading your thoughts about chat on Nadira's blog.I'd also like to thank all of the members who were chatting in the MyEC chat room with me last night. Your thoughts and feedback about the chat room were very helpful. Here are my observations about the MyEC chat room, along w

I need to take it again to be eligible taking other classes for my major. I feel something going off in my way now. It's very annoying and uncomfortable...I thought I would pass the test due to I did well. However, I got a perfect score on my writing part. I did a lot of wrong answers on the multiple choice questions...oh God..so dizzy..Being at the US for 3 years...I

I love reading! One of my favourite stories as a child was Anne of Green Gables. This book was written for both children and adults to enjoy. In my opinion, these classics are the best types of books for adult English learners.
Anne of Green Gables is set in Canada (my country). Have you heard of Anne? She is a dramatic red-haired orphan who moves to a farm in Prince Edward Island. P.E.I. is a tiny province on the east coast of Canada. The classic itself is a bit difficult to read. It was first p

Hi all my friends here,This title was inspired from the movie: Anna and the King. But this does not have anything to do with it. I invite my friends here to write and assemble a story with the above title: Salman The King and An Elephant. with our words and imagination concatenated. This story can be long or short it all depends on your participation.easy way, each of you just write one sentence, which in turn will form a complete story.I start:One day the king salman, sitting under a pine tree

I believe that music is important in our lives. In modern day life we are surrounded by music at various times of the day. At times we may hear no human-made music, but still hear the music of nature. Some may argue that the "songs" of birds, insects and frogs are not music at all but just communication. To that I respond, What is music if not communication? It can be the communication of excitement or sadness. It can be communication of joy, longing, or a religious message. Regardless of the con

The rainy season has started here in the Philippines. After the wrath of typhoons last year, more people now are conscious on how to be ready once a typhoon hit their lands.I believe taking initiative is a must if you want have an idea to prevent the destruction of our lands. One way is to dump our garbage in the right places. People should not throw their garbage in canals and drainage. These could cause flooding and flooding causes a lot of water borne deceases such as diarrhea, typhoid fever,

I have read this story recently and i liked it very much then i looked for the analysis of it and i liked to share with you to see how much the pure fiction of the literary is very simple ,nice and meaningful. This story it is a type of story that has a limited number of words and it hasa traditional begining - middle - end story.Hemingway> was sitting with his friends writers at round tables at a resturant( i think )and they had a bet of 10$ each if they could write a short story about six wordsRead more…
