    Hi, Nini! 

    Actually, it is very easy to add emoticon symbols on Facebook. First, go to any webpage that has a collection of emoticons meant for Facebook use. 

    For  example,  you’ll find over four hundred  emoticons if  you follow the link
    below to this particular webpage.

    http://www.piliapp.com/facebook-symbols/ 

    All you have to do is…

    1. Click  on  an  emoticon  that  you  want  to  use.  It  will  be copied  to  your

        computer clipboard.

    2. Go  to  Facebook  and  right-click  on  the  spot  where  you want to post the

        emoticon. Choose the option “Paste” from the drop-down menu that appears.

    3. Press  the “Enter” key  on your keyboard  (or the “Post” option on Facebook

        Timeline). 

    It’s as simple as that. Have fun!
