Domestic blindness describes the situation that when you are trying to look for something in your house, but you can't find it, so you ask your spouse or parents for help. Upon asking someone for help, he/she points to the item that you were looking for, which is usually standing right in front of your face.
Have you shared a similar experiece like that? To be honest, I have the memory of a goldfish. One day I was looking for my cellphone the whole morning, I asked all the friends I could ask for help from, guess what? it turned out that it was right in my palm! Do you know what I was thinking at that time? I guessed I must have got AD (Alzheimer's disease). Later when I read a magazine, I got to know it is DB (domestic blindness).
After that, my friends like teasing me I have a potential of getting AD because I have a short memory and I am such a himono onna (Dried Fish Women). [it is a buzzword in Japan, it means a girl who likes staying indoor, who doesnt go shopping, go to bars, go traveling and if not necessary, she wont go out.]
So I start to think about it and make up my mind to make a change. But I dont know how to do. Do you have any good ideas?

You will not believe me if I tell you, sometimes I try to put things in their wrong places :D :D like putting salt in a fridge LOL

Thank you for your nice comment, my dear friend! God bless you!
Hi my friend, really, it is wonderful to exchange our life's experiences. Actually, I am suffering from short memory as well. Every time I bark my car, I don’t remember where its barking is. One day I went to the mall to buy a gift for my son because, he passed the final test successfully, so, I barked my car in the mall’s barking, it is a very big one, then after I bought the gift I went to look for my car and I was in a hurry, oh my God Mickey you will not imagine what happened to me, I still remember this incident as if it happened yesterday, not before 2 years ago, my car is white and there is nothing at it which makes it different from the others cars, so because I was in a hurry I tried to open a wrong one at the same time, unfortunately, the owner of the car came and he thought me cars thief, which is very common in my country, he yelled at me with a very loud rough voice, in so much I frosted in my place, then I realized what happened. Anyway, the incident ended with a lot of apologies, of course I was the one who was apologizing all the time. My friend, I still hardly remember where I bark my car.
Really Mickey I astonished when I read that you are indoor girl, Why my little princess. Once, I read that everyone of us has a little inner child, so my friend, trey to make daily connection with your inner child, the little one you once were. Do some special things together, things you loved to do when you were little, every child refuses to be indoor child. The child always knows how to play and love and live the life moment to moment to moment. That will open the door to your heart, and your life will be enriched like mine. Thanks, God bless you.
hehehe, sis wyyyyyyyyyyywuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! To be honest, I like Germany except for its cold weather! [xixixi, are you going to find a German bf?] I am waiting to see your new pics!
hahaha, sis jin~ take care, dont let the AD haunts you~ grinning! Yup, we three, no we four, including sis wywu are all himono onna~
LOL sis Micks, that happens a lot to me too...searching the surroundings for a particular item which is never really lost. Hehehe. and I am afraid too because I'm also a candidate for AD :( and I'm not an outgoing person as well, I prefer staying at home than going to malls or parties.
well I think the three of us (including noas) share the same lifestyle. hehe. though I'm not really into books or reading or writing much :)
thanks sis for sharing your experience. take care ^___^
Lol, sis, we are sharing similar lifestyle. I am an indoor mouse who has a dream of traveling around the world. hehehe [maybe i can realize it on the map~ grinning]
I prefer indoor than outdoor. I would prefer reading books than go out to the shopping malls (favourite past times among Malaysians). It's a bliss. LOL
