One day,my friend called and told me about her bad unforgottable experience.Last month she went to another city to teach there. She told me that one night she had to cook the dinner .She cooked it and then she and her roommates ate .After the dinner ,she left. One of her roommates said "you have cooked such an awful meal ".She told me that they hurted her with their words .I remembered a story narrated by someone (I forgot his name now )about the prophet mohammad -peace be upon him-.The story is that: one day ,a poor man brought a bunch of grapes to the prophet as a gift. The prophet ate it all and he didn't offer grapes to his companions .After that ,the man left ,and one of the companion asked the noble and the gentle prophet "How come you ate it all and didn't offer grape to anyone. The prophet smiled and said :"I ate the grape because it was sour ,and I didn't want you to hurt the man with your words and not to show him funny faces.
Amal, one more point I figured out having read this article is that we all believe that no one is perfect nor our worship such prays, zakat, fasts etc. Even in a congregational pray, all the pray sayers have no surety about perfection of prays nor do we have the same level sincerity; some have more; some have less. All the shortcomings in prays are ignored and rewards are determined keeping in view of their sincerity. It's because, Allah is the most Merciful and the most Beneficent.
May Allah make us a sincere servant to Him and His Prophet (peace be upon him)! Ameen!

you just do wonder, amal
Thank you for sharing. Some of us would find it hard to do, though. :))
Thanks for reading
It is a good story. Prophet doesn't want to hurt anyone, he hurt himself. He is kind-hearted.
Thanks alot
May Allah make us a sincere servant to Him and His Prophet (peace be upon him)! Ameen!
Truth hurts. Our tongue (words) really have a double edge. One can compliment people, and the other hurting people. It's how you use it carefully.
