Most people want others to comment on their blogs. When they finish and publish a blog, they will be expecting some comments on it. Usually, they expect something positive, encouraging or inspiriting. They check their blogs frequently to see if there are any comments and they'll do so first thing the next day. If there is no comment, they will feel a little frustrated or even sad. Anyway, they write blogs to express their ideas, thoughts or opinion and communicate with other people. With that in mind, people usually make an effort and try to comment on other people's blogs.
On the other hand, some people don't care whether their blog gets comments or not - they just keep writing. Even when their blog gets comments, they won't respond or write back. I have no idea why they just keep writing and totally ignore the comments their blog gets.

@DM: Yeah, it can be a problem. Sometimes it's impossible to answer all the messages in your inbox. I don't think it's a good idea to ignore messages which are sent specially for you, no matter how busy you may be. Sometimes we did fail to answer some messages and I don't think your friends will be angry with you if you miss and fail to answer one of their messages
Yes, you said it. Commenting is as important as blogging. I like to read blogs as well as all the comments on them. It's hard to imagine that we haven't got the 'Add Comment' button at the end of each blog.

Yes, you can say that again. Absolutely true! In fact, I've been trying my best to add as many comments on others' blogs as possible, some of which may not really interest me so much. It's also a good idea to let your friends know when you just published a post and want them to leave comments on it. You can send a message to your friends or anyone you trust. Be active and don't just wait there for them to come and leave a comment. Anyway, I like to get comments from others and also try to give comments on others' blogs.

Let me say please, I try to leave a comment although a topic don't interest me. I can do just supporting or as being friendly for giving encouragement. In my opinion; Communication is a mutual something and if I don't give any reflection, they can't too. I hope to manage our expectation how we desired. Thanks again.
Thanks for your comment. I expect any comments on my blogs and I assume others may do so, too. So I try to leave comments on others' blogs when I see an interesting one. But I can't find all the blogs which may interest me, so I may have missed some. Adding comments on others' blog is a good way to communicate with each other. Thanks again.
