A couple were going on vacation, but the wife was away on a business trip.  So the husband decided to go to their destination first and then his wife would meet him the next day.

Once he had reached the hotel he decided to send his wife a quick email.  Unfortunately, when typing her address, he mistyped a letter and his note instead was directed to an elderly preacher's wife, whose husband had passed away the day before.

When the grieving widow checked her email, she took a look at the monitor, le

The Keyboards

Have you ever wondered, how different and interesting can be life of anyone from MyEC? The people, that you are chatting with them every day. We simply can't know it, but we can imagine it. And if not the all aspects of their life, then just as tiny thing as their keyboards. A tool, that they use it every day to express their feelings and thoughts. When they are sad or happy. Someone eats while typing the messages on the keyboard. Someone lies on the bed. But all of them have their own habits an

I wanna thank Lady Noor for showing me with her blog: 'Islam is a Way of Life' that is not against the EC rules to spread fanatic religious views. Thanks to that, now I know that I've the same freedom here to spread my non-religious view as well. Since Lady Noor's blog wasn't banned, I know now mine can't be banned either.

I just wanna make clear that I don't have anything against Islam, but against all the religious dogmas (okay, especially the ones of the three main monotheistic religions) but

Just don't care, what they say :)

Sometimes we come across weird, chaotic thoughts that start occupying our brain. Sometimes we are stressed because of little issues that eventually don't matter so much but we consider them at that one particular moment the most important in the world. We ask ourself the questions such as: "Am I good enough? Do I look fine? Will others like this or that I have worked on?" We tend to doubt, which is natural but I would say we waste time on thinking about how others percieve us...

In fact, we care

Grammar Test VII

Hi, everyone! I often miss teaching and teasing you a little! Here is my new grammar test for you (or me!) not to be bored! On this test, you should correct not only grammar mistakes, but also some phrasal verbs. I have borrowed some of the expressions from my wife's students and my personal correspondence.

I believe, you know what to do! You should correct all the mistakes and make all the sentences meaningful. So, let's go ahead!

Here is your task.

  1. Both of the twins didn’t do what they were assig

Just some thoughts

It's almost impossible to change stubbornness, slander, extremisms, and addiction to revenge.
Allegations without proof are ridiculous but always welcome by like-minded people. Never mind, that's life.
That's why sometimes, Ignoring is better than confrontation, and forgetness is better than endless complaining and discussions. The wiser smiles and doesn't provoke. It's a question of self-awareness, independence, honor, and dignity.

LIAR

This is my first poem I post in here, since I realize I'm not into a poem xD

Should a poem consist of diction words that make people wonder?

Well, I'm not sure about this poem but in the case of learning, why not to try? :P

LIAR

Beautiful words always came out from your mouth

It magically turned her face

A wide curve showing rows of teeth lined neatly

Once, twice, thrice

Your fancy words had made her a queen

Four times,

The magical words faded away

A little curve on her lips still could be seen

In order to

The last tree has lost its last leaf,
and the last dried up rose lowers its head.
The fountains don't have water,
and the and ponds and rivers are empty.
Only fallow fields as far as the eyes can see,
there is no grain, no fruit.
Only abandoned farms and orphaned towns and villages.
Where did the animals and humans go?
There is no child laughter,
and the songs of birds have fallen silent.
The trees stretch their bare branches to the sky,
it looks as if they are begging for water,
but the storm

Wow two blogs in one day!!!!  It is a record for me surely!!  I found these while searching for reading material for someone.  They are well worth posting I feel. Life is a teacher.  What have you learned???

I’ve learned-
that you cannot make someone love you. All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them.

I’ve learned-
that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back.

I've learned

that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it.

I’ve learne

Hi all!!  I have to say this is my favorite cake recipe of all time.  Unfortunately I lost the original recipe which broke my heart, but this one is close to that original but as of yet I haven't given it a try.  So this one is a pot luck at best.  So here goes!!!

The first Hummingbird Cake recipe was published in Southern Living magazine in 1978 after being submitted by a reader from Greensboro, North Carolina. It became the most requested recipe in the magazine’s history2347524174?profile=original

You’re still my one true love

When I look back at how we began;

the laughter and love that we shared,

I smile at all the ways we loved

and we dared to dream of a wonderful future together,

and how we promised this was forever.

And I try to recall the moment when things started to change;

Just what it could’ve been to cause our happiness to slip away.

And though I may never find the answer I do know one thing for sure;

I still love you now as much as I did then,

and I don’t know how but we can get through this.

I’m not ready to give up

Two Stars so Closed, but Apart!

It looks so nice to see the heart gets involve and acquainted once again, with love.  But when see how much time has gone by, how much the dust of distances has settled in feet as well as in the hair, and you and I are encircling in the circles of our lives just as far away in the infinity of the sky, two stars which seem so close to each other, but actually there is an orbit of solitude of millions of miles between them. How this vast orbit can be crossed? You are in your orbit, and I am in min

Friends... look at your feet

Friends...
When your feet are hurt, could it run as fast as a runner to reach the crown?
When your feet get wound, could it stand upright in the face of challanges?
When this foot tripped over the rock, could it walk perfectly?

Friends...
Do not let it gets hurt, it should be able to run
Do not let it gets wound, it should stand upright
Do not let it tripped, it should walk properly

Here you are running so fast where you never get tired
Here you are standing upright where you won't fall
Here you

Recently, I read some books which were written by authors who were about 80 years old. They were in elementary school when World War Ⅱ ended. They experienced that same thing. They were taught by their teachers during the war that the Japanese emperor was a god and that they must fight against the U.S with their lives for him. However after the war was over, they were taught by their teachers that Japanese emperor was just a human and that the U.S was an ally which would teach them about democra

Since everyone is interested in poems lately......I thought I would post this one.   I haven't written one in years.....so this one is an old one as all my writings are.  We have to be in a certain place to be able to write.......or at least I do.  I hope you enjoy it.......but it like most that I write it is a bit dark.

 Without These Three

No answer rides upon the wind
No solution offering to be my friend.

I see the day so gray and tense

Lost in the dark

We met in the dark
and got lost in the night.
Everything seemed so real,
when you were by my side.

I saw not your face,
but you touched my soul.
Hear the beat of my heart!
It seems out of control.

I danced in your arms,
and you kissed my lips.
I still feel your embrace,
with your hands on my hips.

You did not want to go,
you had no chance to stay.
The morning came soon
and blew you away.

You wanted to see me,
after the end of the day,
But I did not know
how to find the right way.

My eyes, filled w

In that night

(In that night) is a famous Sudanese song. I wanted the members to feel those who get the blow in the tank. Getting the blow in the tank is very dangerous. it means explosion and it means the end of life for some. Someone loved a girl and someone else married her. Please enjoy reading

In that night, it was not easy for me

I could not forgive you or blame you

You took all the wounds and the smile

I came to congratulate you and shake hands

I extended my hands without any talk

Because I could not stand i

Glamping Dome 2

Imagine that laying on the bed and staring at the starry night sky in an outdoor camping site. What an wonderful view!  The skylight on top of the dome allow you to enjoy this view. In front of the bed, seeing through a balcony with french window reminds you that you are surrounded by snowy wild. Your excitement spreads along side the lake and reaches far to the looming mountain side. If it was me, I'll be too excited to fall asleep.

Stress at work

I got in trouble today at work because I did not fellow the facility procedure.  Honestly I did not understand what did I do wrong.  I would admit that I did not fellow my supervisor instruction by not calling 911 because the resident was no code with selective treatment.  However my ADON stated I should call the doctor when the resident had a change of condition and COC was my top propriety.  But I thought my top propriety was stabilized the resident then worried about calling the doctor and fa
