This 10th anniversary brings back a lot of memories.
That 9/11/01 was supposed to be a great day as one of my friend and I had planned to go to Germany to spend a relaxing day.

Well, I remember that on September 11th, 2001 I was at school. I was 13 years old and I had heard some teachers talking about something strange. I didn't know what had happened, so some friends and I asked our teacher and she said that planes were attacking the World Trade Center in the USA. In fact, I didn't realize what it was, but I knew something serious was happening. Then, when I arrived home I saw the images on TV and got kind of scared. I felt really bad seeing all those people suffering
Today, I spent my time whole day in my room. I have no appetite to eat something. I have banana, crackers accompany me.
Then, I remember that still have some eggs in the refrigerator and a can of tuna spreads.
Well, cooking is one of hobby I think. So, I started to make very simple omelettes with tuna spread inside, added salt, black pepper, and dried herb.
Then served with chili sauce. It work as my appetizer.

My role model is my dad. He made his way by himself without getting any help from anybody. Despite the fact that his father passed away when he was just 3 years old, he was able to study and at the same time provide for his family. My dad studied really hard and as a result, he got a scholarship and was able to get a PHD in economics from Romania. I am very proud of him!
