EC is a great community with lots of advantages. But the most wonderful thing about EC is the people I met and the friends I had. Wooow, what amazing friends they are !!!

Each one of them has a unique personality that makes him special.

The wise … the smart … the kind … the good … the polite … the funny … the cheerful …the strong … and many more. Each one of them is special on his own way.

Do you like reading news or making audio recordings for MyEC? Why don't you join our latest video challenge?

For our new activity, I would like to invite you to make a video of yourself reading one of the news from MyEC feed. The news are recorded by our admin, Tara Benwell. You can listen in the way she pronounced and narrated the news. This would help you to be familiar with tone and inflection.

Practicing reading in front of the camera would help us gain self-confidence and improve our speaking

It’s nice to talk to you all once again. I’ve a question for you this time! Are you one of those EC members who would go to any extent to improve his/her pronunciation?

Well! I published a blog about spelling bee a week ago. I gave 26 difficult pronunciations. To my pleasant surprise, the girls (Noaslpls, Yupa, Hala, Galina and Anty) found all the 26 related written words with ease. 

Now I would like to invite you to pronounce the words they found. All you have to do is simply

We must take our hats off to all the spambusters who've helped to make MyEC a pleasent place. They are active members here. They read all the blogs by other members and always try to leave a comment on what they just read. When they find an inappropriate blog by a spammer, they will try to go to the spammer's page and click "Report Member", and they will warn other members of the spammer. I really appreciate the excellent job our spambusters have done so far.

Everyone has their own goals that they want to achieve. It can be for a long time goals or the short ones. Sometimes we feel so eager to do all of the steps based on the strategy that we've made, but as human we feel so bored for doing the same activity all the time. The boredom also the factor that discourage ourselves to do anything. Perhaps when the boredom come to me I often against it by listening to the song which can burn my motivation such as "It's the climb" song by Hannah Montana. this

I don't crave fame

I crave myself

I want to be myself

not someone's image

I want my freedom

and not be bound by any expectation

It would be nice

If the next time someone visits,

and leaves a smile...

Hello friends!

It's been quite a long while since I haven't had written a blog on MyEC. When I was preparing for my exam a few weeks ago, I had lots of ideas to blog. However, the moment I logged into MyEC after my exam, all seemed to vanish into thin air ! Naturally, I was looking for something to write about because I had come back to MyEC and also because I had only a little time to stay here, for I had to prepare for another exam.

 In a few days as a member in ec, i see myself improving in english. Im very thankful to this site, i find what i want. I don't need to pay for the tuition fee to an institution which can help me enhanced my English ability in speaking, writing, and listening. I am also grateful to my ec co-members, they are kind and very considerate . I am doing this not for myself but also for the children i am handling. Again , Thank you everyone..I wish i could reach my goal..

All dictionaries are not the same.  Some give you more help than others.   I looked at several dictionaries for three things: a learner’s dictionary, a voice which pronounces the word, and a sentence or phrase containing the word.  I found only one dictionary that has all three.  It is the Cambridge learner’s dictionary. Dictionary http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/learner-english/  They give the word in a sentence or phrase, but it’s hard to see because it is in light gray.  Try it
