'Thank You' Notes (and funny stuff)

A 'Thank You' note is basically a short letter to express gratitude for a gift, service or opportunity. The basic info you should write in a 'Thank You' note is the following:
   - Address the people or service.
   - Say thank you (obviously)
   - Identify the gift.
   - Express how you feel about the gift and what it will be used for.

'Thank you' notes usually are serious and polite notes of gratitude ('Thank you for the lovely gift', etc) But they can also be a simple and private act of daily

Every family has a problems but having a strong father is very important. My father is not that perfect who gave us luxury in life but he gave us wisdom and education.

When we were just a kids, we can have him only for a day or a week, because he was working as an army for 6 years or so.

The only thing I remembered he was very strict , jolly and sometimes naughty. My first gift I remembered he gave him to me was a mirror with a hello kitty. He said when I am lonely I can look at the mirror. Then a

Time to be united

Here is a house. A house is a common roof for family members who are bonded by love; a father and a mother and their kids. They love each other, care about each other and protect each other. Even if one of the family members does something wrong they would try to help her. This is what it means to be a family. They all know that in order to have a happy family they all must be responsible.  It’s the first community that we start our social life. We learn that how great it feels to be loved, to b

Please take your side. My best guest is coming to my poor home and I am going to welcome him with open arm. The guest, who always comes at my home once a year with countless blessing and the message to take care of less fortunate. He accompanies me for a month. In the meantime, he trains me how to abstain my self from all ill-activities, which, in fact, are harmful to my health. In other words, he is my best doctor, who cures me from many spiritual as well as corporeal diseases such as diseases o

Here is my 18th Blog on the inspiration given by Seekers.

How do you start writing blogs?

Ans) Sometimes it is easy for me, but sometimes it is too difficult. If idea comes easily, then it’s expansion gets blocked.  Sometimes my mind gets stuck and I can’t be able to write a single word.  And of course there are times when there is rain of ideas and flows of words.  The bottom line is this in my case “sometimes this and sometimes that’.

Do you think you are a natural writer or you try hard to wri

Ramadan

A guest is coming back. Well, we have been waiting for this guest for a long time. Was it eleven months? This guest is always in a hurry to leave. we hope that he stays for the rest of our lives, but he chooses twenty nine to thirty days and then he leaves. In the past, people wished that guest to come and find them. They knew the good things they meet and have, the forgiving and mercy from Allah, the almighty.

They knew that they had committed a lot of sins and bad deeds against themselves and a

Why do I write here?

Well, I have been writing here for many days. But still, I am doing mistakes and getting corrections. Sometimes doing the same mistakes and being ashamed. But, actually why do I write?

1. First and foremost for learning. I want to learn English in a good way. Want to know the syntax, some unusual expressions which are only used by the native speakers.

2. Then, I found writing is quite helpful. Sometimes I just write a blog to memorize newly learnt words.

3. Besides it, writing blogs sometimes help

Why does make up matter?

2347076506?profile=original

I started to love making myself up when I was 21. What seemed to be a simple 'feel good' habit became something more sophisticated as I got older.

Undeniably, it is me- in my profile- wearing make up. Well, not only make up but perfume, too. I was unconscious of the effect of make up to me and to the people around me or those who see me. I put on make up for myself; just to feel good.

As I move from one make up style to another, I become more confident or self-assured. I feel more powerful and I

A little bird.

A lonely little blue bird

Just woke up,

Searching for her mother,

Searching for the warmth.

Steps out on an wobbly bough

Looking around,

whining, chirping.

There is the rising Sun in the horizon.

There are mists on the ground.

Lonely little blue bird

One day will fly away,

Fly away alone or together.

There would be the sinking sun in the horizon.

How Englishclub.com helps me.

I think, now it's time to say how this site helps me to learn. I have been here more than 2 years. And, almost everyday I like to be here.

One day, I was chatting in another site. There a member came and gave the address of English club. He/ she told  me that this site is very good so, I must see.

It took a bit more time to make an account here! In the very beginning, I became  scared as it demanded many information. Moreover, I faced trouble to add the profile picture. Then one of my colleagues h

A Father's Day Story

(I read this story  a long time ago and though I can’t remember the exact words but the essence of it never left my mind and I wish to retell this story in my own words and share it to all fathers because in it I saw not only the kindness of one father to another but of the sacrifices our fathers go through to give us the best that they could offer.  In my own life I have witnessed how my father paved a way for me to be industrious, to be honest and most of all how it is to be human and kind.  I

“The Hand that Rocks the Cradle Rules the World.”

What a man becomes in future depends upon his childhood, which is of two kinds, one which is received in a school and in company of friends, and he other which he receives at home.  At home the greatest influence on the child is exercised by the mother.  The mother’s influence on the child beings before any other influence because it begins when the child is still an infant sucking at the mother’s breast.

A mother, thus exercises great influence o

7 Secrets To Blogging

1. Use a Short, Catchy Title

A good blog title is the first thing you need to capture a reader's interest. Your blog title does not need to be a complete sentence. It does need to be spelled and formatted properly. Use a capital letter for the first letter in every important word in your title. If you aren't sure which words to capitalize, use a capital letter to start each word in your title. Do NOT type ALL IN CAPS in your blog or title (unless it's one word like NOT). This is like yelling in

According to research, many women marry the wrong man.

This is under the impression that 'he will change', 'he is rich' and 'I love him'. As time goes by, things did not change, he was not rich and she did not love him.

With children involved, it is always hard for them to walk away from the marriage.  The sad part is that they have been dragged down by the emotional burden, trapping them in a situation that makes them dysfunctional.

To walk away is sometimes not an option because they want to prov

I am a One-Dollar Bill:

I am a one-dollar bill (note). I was born in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). Washington two years back.  After getting released from there I was sent to central bank, from there to a commercial bank and again from there I was handed over to a man who locked me in a strong iron box along with my other fellow beings.  On the very first day of my life, I discovered that everybody longed to have me in his pocket.  A purse was the safest place to keep me, subject no
