Try to understand that the ideal time simply never comes and you need to learn here and now, despite the constant "obstacles" and external irritants. Do not look for excuses, but simply open the outline of a book

Why do we need language

hieroglyphs-3-big.jpgOf course, we need language to communicate. Some may argue that you can communicate in other ways: gestures, symbols, sounds ... It's true. But still the most perfect form of communication for humans is a language, as in a person mind with a word is related an object or phenomenon.

Linguists and biologists in 2015 created two more theories that are related to the emergence of human language, supposedly descended from "an animal." Shigeru Miyagawa connects the emergence of human language with the merger of the two systems, the first - expressive (like singing birds), the second - lexical (cries of monkeys, who warned of the dangers). Other authors came another suggestion, even though that is quite difficult to construct sentences (syntax), this skill appeared much earlier t

THE SICK LION By Aesop

A Lion had come to the end of his days and lay sick unto death
at the mouth of his cave, gasping for breath. The animals, his
subjects, came round him and drew nearer as he grew more and
more
helpless. When they saw him on the point of death they thought to
themselves: "Now is the time to pay off old grudges." So the Boar
came up and drove at him with his tusks; then a Bull gored him
with his horns; still the Lion lay helpless before them: so the
Ass, feeling quite safe from danger, came up, and turni

The Touchy Heart

TOUCHY HEART!

Once a rich man had some spare time to watch movie.  That was the story, filmed very effectively, of a poor little girl.  She was so poor that she had to beg for food to eat.  In the move it was shown that people were mistreating her and scolding to get lost seeing her poor filthy dress.  The rich man had been crying throughout the movie seeing the miserable condition of the girl.  When the movie was over the rich man was still crying while he was coming out of the theatre.

He went

THE MOST BIZARRE

THE MOST BIZARRE:

On March 23 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and
concluded that he died from a gunshot wound of the head caused by a shotgun.

Investigation to that point had revealed that the deceased had jumped from
the top of a ten story building with the intent to commit suicide (he
left a note indicating his despondency). As he passed the 9th floor on the way
down, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast through a window, killing
him instantly. Neither the shooter no

Love and Time

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived:
Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others,
including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the
island would sink, so all constructed boats and left.
Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold
out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"

There was a boy who was always losing his temper.
His father gave him a bag full of nails and said to him,
“My son, I want you to hammer a nail into our garden
fence every time you need to direct your anger
against something and you lose your temper.”
So the son started to follow his father’s advice.
On the first day he hammered in 37 nails,
but getting the nails into the fence was not easy,

2347246508?profile=originalMy dear friends! As my previous test turned out to be TOOOOO easy for you, I have decided to come up with more complicated task. This time you should choose the right homonym.

Homonyms are words that are pronounced almost exactly alike but that differ considerably in meanings. So, your task is to choose the homonym that makes sense in each of the following sentences.

  1. Why does moden music have such a strange /(a) affect, (b) effect/ on you?
  2. Most buildings have /(a) stationery, (b) stationary/ walls

Who's Behind A Name

I noticed many my.EC members are using their real name. They write it fully, half of it, nick name only and maybe using abbreviation of their name. That’s no fancy for me, but when it comes to such a philosophy's name, I wonder why did that person choose that name. I hope I am not alone here so I post this to know if some people here feel the same with me. Long time ago I’ve got an experience relate to this, here is it.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, I think i should apply this idiom more often

1 Forgive
2 Always do your share and a little more.
3 A person never looks so tall as when he stoops to help another.
4 Smile when introducing yourself.
5 Have a firm handshake.
6 Be the first person to say "hello".
7 Always buy whan little kid
