The Touchy Heart

TOUCHY HEART!

Once a rich man had some spare time to watch movie.  That was the story, filmed very effectively, of a poor little girl.  She was so poor that she had to beg for food to eat.  In the move it was shown that people were mistreating her and scolding to get lost seeing her poor filthy dress.  The rich man had been crying throughout the movie seeing the miserable condition of the girl.  When the movie was over the rich man was still crying while he was coming out of the theatre.

He went to the parking lot where his BMW was parked and the driver was waiting for him all the time since he entered the cinema.   The driver immediately opened the door of the car for him. Seeing the driver the forehead of the rich man twinge  in dislike.  When the car was on the road, it stopped at a red signal.   The rich man was enjoying the good air through the window.  There came a little girl near the window.  She seemed to be as poor as the rich man watched in the movie and whose miserable condition made his heart cried out.

“Get lost you filthy little bitch!”

Saying this the rich man raised the glass of the window, and ordered his driver to move immediately.

  • Thanks Lynne for posting your opinion.  I appreciate that.

  • All what I can say is, it's so unfair to treat them as stereotype. A great number of them are philanthropists.

What I don't like in this writing is it's just focused on the behaviour of the rich guy, so, I guess, if only that rich man knows the person he is helping the attitude won't be the same.

  • Elena:

The idiom 'man with two faces" might be created for the people like the one in the above story!

  • Hi Mish, this story has a very bitter ending, I don 't want to believe those different behaviours belong to the same man, it would be very disappointing, but this because I'm a person who trust in people. Am I wrong? Anyway, thanks for sharing, greetings.

  • Mishaikh, I guess this is not about status but politeness or behaviour. Btw, despicable act. At least if you ever see her again it won't be as your wife's boss :)
  • TRUE INCIDENT:

Once I worked in a textile company office (I have already mentioned in one of my blogs).  One of my colleagues told about this incident happened to himself.

Once the owners wife (Old lady) visit Karachi and wished shopping.  The owner asked this colleague of mine to accompany her.  In the big market the lady was wandering and  my colleague was walking behind her respectfully.  There came a beggar ( a girl) and kept begging for the alm.  The lady was ignoring her.  When my colleague saw that the beggar was insisting and the lady was ignoring he took some money out of his pocket and gave to the girl.  The lady felt insulted. "Why did you give alm to the beggar, while was ignoring her.  Do you think yourself richer than me to give the alm to the girl?"

My friend got upset and apologized.  The lady kept mumbling through out the time while she was shopping.

So you see the complexed personality of that lady.  She might have been charity to hundreds of needy, but she could not tolerate an employee of her company giving some charity in front of her.

  • SNR & EVA:

This is the human being so simple and at the same time so unbelievable.

  • Very appropriate comment abiba.  Thanks a lot.

"At least his/her taxes will indirectly help them."

May this is is possible and./or practicable in European countries.  But not in my or any underdeveloped country.   All the taxes paid by the people consumes in the luxury life of the ruling parties.  Not for the common people.

  • Hello there,
After reading the comments I couldn't help come here again and apology if someone feels ofended for making a joke of such serious matter.

Wheather it's a fiction the story or not, as you well say it happens among us everywhere everyday but we can't blame on all people who success in their lifes for the poverty around them whenever they don't hurt anyone and as permitted by law. At least his/her taxes will indirectly help them.
I guess we can only blame on these kind of despicable persons in a moral way.
