Behind every music or photo, there is a story that makes it special. These two songs are also unique for me. The first one which is the original song, Ma Baker, sang by Boney M was playing in our car whenever we went out. At the time, my father drove very fast and turned this music up. Then, He went through steepy streets in the northen part of Tehran with high speed. The joy of a fast speed with this song made me to fly.
Moreover, before 1978 revolution in Iran, Iranian TV used this song in a TV serial comedy show which was named Italia Italia. They put an Iranian lyric on the Ma baker song. The story of the TV show was about an Iranian rural man who disguised himself as an Italian so that he can marry a wealthy beautiful woman. The serial was a comedy and the name of the man was Elsalvadore. Eventually, his plan failed to be succeeded. My cousins and I always watched this serial and laughed so much.
While I listen to the original song or the converted Iranian version, I remember the time when I was with my father and also my close relatives.Being together is the most enjoyable moment of life. One may be very wealthy but one can not buy such grateful time in life. Still these songs bring joy for me.
