hi, Tanya! how have you been? i'd like for you clear up this question from grammaticlly side. does come irregular verb before auxiliary verb? for example " what i want is for young people"" they find is disturbing"
I'm very happy to hear these words form you.
Have a great and peaceful weekend.
Dear Rajesh! Thanks for your nice comment! As a matter of fact, you don't have to introduce yourself to me as we have already communicated on some discussions. I do like Indian people for their smartness, that is cultural heritage of their deeply rooted history, as well as for their gallantry, that is the consequence of their smartness (Smile! I, too, like to compliment people!).
Well, feel free asking me any questions about English and have great weekend.
Dear Katya (KateK)! Your English really needs improving. First of all, read what I have written above. Those are my professional recommendations for all learners. Besides, I can send you my grammar book (all explanations are in Russian and are very clear) as well as some other very useful material (dialogues, everyday vocabulary, idioms, etc.) with Russian translation. All I need is your email address.
Also, you can ask me any questions here or in the discussion "What do you want to know about English grammar?"
I think, that Oksana's recommendations are also worth attention.
Hi Tanya.
I am Rajesh from India. As being an English lover , I hope I'll enjoy your this group a lot. And as I see you are always here with us so great thanks to you.
Hi KateK!
Can I suggest you something? Threre is a good resource for Russian speaking people, Lingualeo.ru .
I also will give you my partner link http://LinguaLeo.ru/r/8anm7d
Actually, it means a little bit better conditions for us both. The resource is really among the best for increasing vocabulary (if not the best at all). You can sign up with my link or without it. It's your choice.
Good luck! :)
Hi, Tanya!
I bad speak English, but i very want learn. I have small lexicon, how i can increase it. My grammar not good too. (
Dear Huda! It is right that a good grammar book must include many exercises with the keys. Here are a few good grammar books:
"Essential and English Grammar in use"by Raymond Murphy,
"Grammarway" by Jenny Dooley and Virginia Evans,
"A Practical English Grammar" by A.Thomson and A.Martinet,
"Grammar Practice" by Elaine Walker and Steve Elsworth,
"Round Up" by Virginia Evans.
Honestly, I don't know why you have such problems with the relative pronouns (who, what, which...) and the parentheses (However, therefore, moreover....). The relative pronouns are considered in the most of grammar books. As to the parentheses, they are just some words, mostly adverbs, that can be used at the very beginning of a sentence, i.e., before a subject. There are not many of them. I can sure explain you their meanings but it is always better to know the exact translation to your language
