  • Hi, Ajmal! Do you mean "to speak Fluent English"? Anyway, the more you practice, the easier it is to speak on the assumption of your writing very good English
  • Hi, Iman! I never know when I am free but I am mostly free in the daytime, about noon. What country are you from? I mean the time difference. Your written English is just perfect. I will gladly talk to you
  • Hi, Tuan! Nice to meet you!
Well, I don't know what to say. If you translate to your native language, the translation should be very good. I worked as a written translator for many years and I started with such kind of translation. However, if your translation to your native language is bad, there may be a few reasons:
    1. You are not familiar with the subject. I'll explain. For example, I am an electronic engineer. If I translate about comps or other digital devices, it will be very good. But if I translate about some machines, constructions, etc., it will not be good because I am not familiar with those fields of knowledge.
    2. If you know the subject, you may use a wrong dictionary. For example, if you translate about comps, you need a computer dictionary. If it is medicine, you should use a medical dictionary and so on.

If you know the subject and use the right dictionary, there may be two other reasons:
    1. You don't know English grammar enough to get the sense of the sentence.
    2. You don't have enough practice in writing articles in your native language.

Honestly, I don't see any other reasons. If you tell me, what particular problems you have, I'll be able to help you more.
  • Hi, Ijai! Honestly, it is Wiro, who should explain! It is he who called me so in the chatroom although he knows the meaning. Shame on him! But I am used to answer to different questions. In America "madam" is used only as a synonym of "a brothelkeeper". If we address regular women, we write "ma'am" or just "mam". Spelling is different but both words sound the same.
  • Wiro! You are a bad boy!
  • Ijai! never say "madam" if you talk to American speakers. There is enough space for all! You are welcome as well as others
  • Dear Eva! You can read about modal verbs on the discussion "What do you want to know about English grammar?", pages 1, 6, 13
  • Dear Ayhantuna! I sometimes talk on Skype. Besides, there are many people in EC who will gladly talk to you. Some of them speak very good English
  • Dear Luis! There is the subject in that sentence "American". All English sentences should contain subjects. It is a must for written English. "Later on" is an expression the same as "some time later"
