Does MyEC help me in the English Course?

We know that English is the language of the century, used for different purposes like studying, getting a job, surfing on the web, talking to foreign people and so on. Because of this, many people look for a school where they can study it and become fluent in it.

However, nowadays, those kind of shools (or courses) are not the only place where we can improve our English. The Internet has brougth the world to our classroom and MyEC is one of the examples for that. The social networks have helped us a lot, once we keep in touch with students, teachers and native speakers from around the world. This is simply amazing!

So, do you agree that your experiences in this network help you in your studies in the English Course? Does it give you more confidence and autonomy when you speak, write, use different expressions?

    Hello everyone! My name is Abel Pelayo. I am an ESL Native Speaker from the USA and it's very nice to be a new member here at the English club. At this time I would like to share with you a little about myself. I happen to reside in the outskirts of Mexico City and have been teaching Company courses for over 13 years through different language agencies. Now I happen to have my own language agency here in Mexico named, Pelayo Professional Services. We normally provide Company course in all different levels; including conversation clubs, business English, etc.. Especially to those who have direct contact with English speaking business people. So, I normally teach adults rather than teaching children but obviously, it's not the same. Eventhough, kids are likely to retain more than adults! From time to time; we are in the need of hiring Native Speaking teachers from other countries. So, if there's anyone interested; please contact me.

    Hi friends,
    As I said before, today I had great moments in class with my teens. I prepared a nice class about "Social Networks" for them and they really loved it. Then, they all registered on MyEC and they are gonna update their profile later. After, they are gonna join this group and I'd like you to keep up with them too.

    Hi Melanie,you are right teaching children is harder but they are easy to handle and when you have them in control then they are a lovely package altogether.And the experience is worth it.I have been teaching kids and teenagers for some time now,so try it as Joyce said and you'll love them.

Social Networks in class?

Hi friends!I've experienced very nice moments in classes about Social Networks I have done with my Intermediate and Upper Intermediate here in Brazil. I started asking them to search ab out this theme as homework. Ready to start again?

Hi friends! Here in Brazil we are still on vacation and most of schools go back only after Carnival, in February. So, some people are relaxing, traveling and enjoying good times.Well...
