This is Mandy saying hello to you. LOL

refIsn't that motivation just as artificial, as like breast implants are? In a way teachers are like cosmetic surgeons?
The mankind is sometime funny.
PS. Cosmetic surgeon actually give some kind of guarantee, and u can sue him/her, when she/he screws up.. and it's usually not forced upon to anybody.. But here, there's no guarantee that mochi cake works.. Maybe I don't even like it. lol
Our schoolchildren are also tortured, but it's especially badly in сolleges, even those who has poor health. In colleges and universities it usually lasts for two years .
"Recently, my son ran an 800-meter "marathon" at his local elementary school. He received a congratulatory "certificate of achievement" noting his participation and the fact he placed 79th. He has come to dread this annual ritual. It is damaging his fragile self-esteem and emerging identity by blatantly focusing on his physical condition. While students cheer him on at the finish line, inside he is hurting.
Many of my university students have shared in this humiliation — one indicated the marathon was her worst memory of kindergarten! While proponents argue it builds character and is a motivator for improving physical fitness, most educators agree such methods are questionable in their efficacy. Thus, I hope my students, many of whom plan to become teachers, will lobby to abandon this practice."

At school I often came across injustice, but we -school students- had A LOT OF FUN as well! :) I have a lot of good memories, one of them is love ;)
i hate it too - marathon event... the teacher always forced us to do it.. but in the end we didnt run just walk.. lol makes the teacher waiting us till evening..
I'm disappointed of "Kaichou wa Maid-sama". It was so uninteresting today. Why won't that Misaki beat the **ap out of that annoying Usui! It's so boring like this.
