Two teachers performed a short version of this sketch over the announcements at my kids' school yesterday. Our kids tried to perform it at the dinner table. After dinner, we showed our kids the real "Abbott and Costello" sketch. I wasn't sure if they would get it, but they did. They laughed their heads off.Question 1: Did this sketch make you laugh? Why or why not?Question 2: Think of 3 adjectives to describe each man.Abbott and Costello perform the classic "Who's on first?" baseball "sketch".

Aha! Got it better! :D You're right! When I was so wee like yours I was laughing hard cos of such comedy, my mom wasn't, I was telling her "Mom! That's funny! why don't you laugh!!"
Now I'm surprised why didn't laugh that much when I watched this video! :(
Honestly, I didn't laugh my head off! :D .. Actually I don't laugh cos of funny talking as much as I laugh cos of funny actions..
It's kinda misunderstanding because of non complete answers,
Abbott asked: "Who is on first?" (the man's real name) and Costello replied: "Who is on first!" ..He meant: "The one who is on the first place" (the man's playing name in the team)

You got it! This is what we call "classic comedy". In fact, I was surprised my wee ones laughed so hard.
