  • Dear Atika, does the expression " to have gooze-flesh' have the same meaning than ' goose-bumps' ? If so, i understand it had this effect on you as it did the same for me. Thanks for your comment.

  • Wow it gave me a goose-flesh.

  • Yes, fortunately...
  • That's right Oksana, there are still in this world some people who, as that girl, are not blind.
  • Yeah. Furthermore, a contrasting comparison always makes a stronger impression on our feelings.

Once I met the expression that illustrates it perfectly. It says: "I cried because I had no shoes, until I saw a man who had no feet."

Another thing I liked in this video was about the girl who had shown compassion despite being in a hurry. She wasn't blind, figuratively saying...

  • That's right Oskana, the meaning was the same, but the power of the words "it's a beautiful day and i can not see it"  gave people a better idea of what that man was missing.
  • Hello  Parseh,

Words are important, they can sometimes change everything. Too bad you couldn't open this video.

In fact, it was a blind man sitting on a sidewalk with a big card beside him where it was written "i am blind, please can you help". A few people who were passing by gave him a few coins, but most didn't. A young woman who saw that, changed the words that were written on that cards by :" it's a beautiful day and i can not see it" the power of those words changed everything as, this time, most people gave him little change and only a very few did not.

  • I wrote the same, but different words...

    Makes one ponder...

It's really worth sharing! Thank you!
