  هل فرشت العشب ليلاً, وتلحفت الفضاء
  زاهداً في ما سيأتي, ناسياً ما قد مضى
  أعطني الناي وغني, وانسى داء ودواء
  إنما الناس سطورٌ, كتبت لكن بماء
